Spain Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Why after watching last weeks game, you saw our new beloved SS Ohf**kme flash! No s**t he broke up one pass and blew someone up. He had taking a poor angle on a play before. the next time after he is talking to Deltha and Tory walking off the field. the next time he polished that s**t up. He finnished game like he could play in the NFL.(badlly) So Im going to be watching him this week in Indy. Lets see if he continues to get better. Remeber he was a real late arrival and he is out there in front of some guys that had full training camps! I also noticed Koostra goes in and you dont notice a difference, he turned out to be a great late round selection! Quote

I guess we should just be glad that his teammates finally shared the secret to playing his position. Maybe now he'll be able to make the roster in Arizona. Quote
Spain Posted November 12, 2005 Author Report Posted November 12, 2005 Laugh it up, the guy could turn the corner! The more time he has in this D the better he will be. Marvin had him way up on the depth chart for a reason. I really think the guy has turned the corner.IMHO andy Quote
volcom69 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Yea i think Marvin already new who he was getting when he got him since he played for Marvin in Washington. Spain he was already a starter for 2 other teams. Quote
schweinhart Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Ohalete does some good things but he doesn't react fast enough in coverage to be on the field much vs. the single-back, 3 WR set the Colts should be in most of the time against the Bengals. He's not going to be able to hang w/ Dallas Clark either.I'd expect to see more Keiwan and Baumann than Ohalete next week. Quote
walshfan Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Is it mean or does Ohalete look slow out there??I can see he doesnt mind putting his pads in there to make a hit but the man just doesnt seem to have the wheels in pass defense... Quote
Spain Posted November 13, 2005 Author Report Posted November 13, 2005 I think that has to do with the mental part of it. Im not saying that he is going to be a probowler but he might be more than servicable. His plays last week where on the pass. They picked on him the whole time. He came back at them in the end. Another point to think about this is that if we are not giving away our D by what safetys we have on the field. Teams know what we are playing. this could change the whole d for the better if he could stay on the field. This is the reason I think that this game coming up is going to be a blow out. If Ohalete holds up like he did the last qaurter of the last game. We could see Manning get picked 4-5 times. If teams dont have a free first down throwing at the SS position then that changes things alot on this D. I would expect ariple affect on this D. Because the run D holds them to third and short . Then the other teams game plan is to throw at the SS. Now if they cant do that. the run D will get off the field and the front seven wont get beat down. This guys are suffering more from not having a starter at TE than anybody else. Well thats the way I see it. Quote
