Stripes Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Of course we'd all love a Superbowl far more than any of these awards. Still, I like our chances of doing all four. Quote
dcbengal1 Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 The other thing is after the Seahawks playoff game in 1988, Boomer didn't look like he could hit the broad side of a barn. Something was up. Plus, the press always talks about McKenzie being injured in teh super bowl and the Niners winning "nonetheless"--How about Krumrie having his leg displaced on national TV, and thus loosng our MVP nose tackle! I thought the Bengals played excellent D in first half, but couldn't make up for the loss of the MVP defensive lineman in the final drive.Let's hope we can avoid such breaks this year, and PLUS this team seems much deeper than 1988. We've already lost our starting safeties, Herring and Williams, but are still hanging in there. Quote

bengalindian Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Well, if Steve Smith and LT keep it up, there's no way that Carson will get MVP. But I do like the chances of the other 3 happening! Quote
