Spain Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 If we cant beat these guys the chance of them going undeafeted is good. Its time for a show down . We are the last real team they face. We have them at the house. Ok they stomped the pats, but the pats are not really that good this year. Its going to be a great game our playas have to be fired the f**k up . Its going to hard for Indy to keep this pace up. They are due for a bad game. I really think we might blow these guys out. Why ? We have the buy week to get healthy and extra game planing does wonder. The jungle will be crazy and this team has a shot to redeem themselves after the loss at home to pitt! Im betting some cash on Cincy for this one. PS. did you guys notice how well Kosstra is doing. the guy comes in and you dont notice a thing! Quote
Stripes Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 The Colts still have some tough games on the schedule aside from facing our Bengals. They host the Steelers and play in Jacksonville. I highly doubt they will hit the undefeated mark. I am thinking 14-2 sounds better. Quote
Spain Posted November 8, 2005 Author Report Posted November 8, 2005 Im kinda hoping they beat the steelers if we beat Indy and they lose we will be a game up on Pitt. that will make up for the loss at home. I hope they beat JAX too becaus e indy has this rapped up at this point. The playoff picture is starting to unfold here and in the AFc IMHO, This is a three dog race for home field between Pitt, cincy , and Indy! We need to run the table , Inday has breathing room , and Pitts right on our ass. If we win out and Pitt and Cincy beat the colts Cincy has home field through out. Saying that it is hard to win out. We could very well lose in Pitt then in that scenario they would have home field through out! Quote
derekshank Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Firstly, The Colts are not as dominant as the '98 Broncos who went 13-0 before their first loss. The next best team to the Broncos was well behind them... and you can make arguments for several teams being right there with the Colts.Secondly, even if they beat us, that is anything but a guarantee of an undefeated season. That will make them 10-0 with 6 games to play including Pit, @Jax, SD, and @Sea.To give you an idea, in their 8 wins they have played teams with a combined 23-42 record. That means teams they have played are winning only 35% of the time. The five teams with winning records they play in the 2nd half are a combined 29-13, winning 69% of the time. The Colts had their most impressive win on Monday night... but they are not unbeatable. NE has been beaten up by several teams this year, are no longer elite. The Colts haven't played any of the tougher teams even on their own schedule yet this year... so lets not get ahead of ourselves. We have a real chance at beating them... and so do several other teams. In fact, they have a much tougher 2nd half than we do... there is a chance we would have the same or a better record than them.It doesn't matter though... We need to focus on Pittsburgh, and winning our division. Quote
turningpoint Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 quite honestly i relaly don't care, if the afc hampionship game is in the rca dome or here, i really don't see it being that big of deal for us.It's huge deal for the colts, they suck in cold weather.i think we could go lay the smack down at the RCA dome just as well as we could here in cincy.anything less then 1 or 2 in the playoff seeding and IMO we don;t have a chance in hell at making it to the superbowl. rizzy Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I just hate the fact that no one is giving the bengals the consideration of winning this game. All the polls I have seen say that the only real chance they have left to losing a game is the steelers. I think the only way the bengals are going to get respect this season is if they beat the colts or steelers, until then we get no respect. Quote
Indycat Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 The Colts have only played two teams with offenses ranked in the top ten, Patriots and Rams, and neither of those teams have the balance that the Bengals have.IMO we need to get up early on them and force them out of play action and give our DB's opportunities for turnovers. bengalindian Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 May I ask which team is close to the Colts right now? Quote

turningpoint Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 idk if we beat them or not,but the chargers will beat them in indy.I also believe the seahawks will beat them in seatle. Quote
AMC Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Colts will not go 16-0...Between us, PITT, SD, JAX and SEA they will lose somewhere...probably twice....After next week we will probably be tied at 7-2 for the division. Hope we can step it up a notch and get the division and not have to worry about all of the permutations in the wild card race...It will come down to the last weekend @ KC...What if we are battling them for a playoff spot????? Dang.... Quote
ArmyBengal Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 I said it in 2003 when we played the Chiefs and I will say it again against the Colts. They have yet to truly impress me. Don't get me wrong, the Colts appear to be STACKED and you just have to love that offense with Manning, Harrison, Edge, so on and so on... However, take a look at their schedule up to this point... We get very LITTLE credit for beating the teams we are "SUPPOSE" to beat, but the Colts are made to look like they walk on water and the Bengals are just another step on the way to the Superbowl. I know we haven't done anything to warrant the praises the Colts have piled upon them, but there is absolutely NO reason we cannot beat the Colts when they come to town... Each game has its own gameplan and I'm sure with the bye week Marvin will have the team MORE than ready to go. Am I the only one who wanted Indy to come into the Jungle undefeated ?? This team has yet another opportunity to prove itself and I believe they will !!! Contain Edge like we did against Jamal Lewis and let our DB's do what they do best. Is anyone concerned about Dallas Clark over the middle ?? Anyway, I'm already feeling the upset (in the media's eyes, not mine) and talking my fair share of S**T around the office. If you are going to the game, get LOUD !!! Here's to going 8-2 !!!Bengals- 34Colts- 24WHODEY !!! Quote
