turningpoint Posted November 2, 2005 Report Posted November 2, 2005 why are we #3?i was wondering why denver got to be #2. Quote
NYBengalfan Posted November 2, 2005 Author Report Posted November 2, 2005 I dont know.......thats a good question. I think that strength of schedule is the tiebreaker if its not head to head or it could be Conference record.I wrote it off the top of my head and I think that Denver has us in both. Just Tryin to be unbiased. Quote
bengalindian Posted November 2, 2005 Report Posted November 2, 2005 What about the NFC picture? Oh, no one cares? OK, that's cool then. Quote
Stripes Posted November 2, 2005 Report Posted November 2, 2005 What about the NFC picture? Oh, no one cares? OK, that's cool then. What is so terrible, is I really believe the Browns would be at least in wild card contention in the NFC. But really, I think the gap between the conferences has thinned a bit since last season. Just Tryin to be unbiased. For determination of homefield advantage among division winners, the official Wild Card Tie-breaker rules are used. Head-to-head is first (which Denver and Cincy don't play) and then conference record. Denver is 4-1 and the Bengals are 3-2. Quote
