belmontbengal
I personally thought it wasn't a good thing.BTW, that looked like quite the hit he took from that rather large security fella. OUCH.Totally deserved as well.I still think that alcohol should be no longer served at sporting events.

pabloxu
you get a defensive delay of game penalty by flinching towards the offensive player trying to make him false start.pablo, I went to high school with the guy I see you're reading this right now, PM me with what high school he went to. How legit are you?Funny enough, 5 minutes after I post this, pablo leaves the board, I get no PM. I figured it was a pretty anonymous way to see if pablo is straight up, or just a clown. I'm not in favor of anything other than the game conditions affecting a game, but it was a lot funnier before I knew who it was. It didn't really surprise me, though.Check your inbox, I am new to this message board - but I sent you a PM that should more than give you enough clues that I am not a clown. ratmandu
you get a defensive delay of game penalty by flinching towards the offensive player trying to make him false start. This defensive delay of game penalty was due to a defensive player not getting into his defensive alignment by purposely standing in the neutral zone until the play clock expired. jjakq27
I don't want to name his name here (Even though 5 news is leading with the story tonight) but I was referred here by PMTHOR. Yes it was my friend who ran onto the field and was arrested, he was bailed out and is currently not going to pay for any drinks for the near future.By far it was the biggest cheer of the game today and the best run... He should have done the Heisman if he got in the end zone!!!!If anyone has a link to the video of it - please email me at pabloxu@aol.complease email me if you have questions but I would not advise him doing interviews or public statements till his trial as he is facing charges.Feel free to post your thoughts and I will try and direct him to the board.I still am laughing so hard at the events of today - I know some people are not happy but man oh man was that funny today and the fact tha Marvin Lewis wants to give the guy $20.00 for the helpBest Regards,Pablo J. jamesbrooks21
My first reaction to your post is to ignore it, like I do most idiotic things but I guess sometimes you just have to call out the sheer dickheads in the world. If he is your friend maybe you can explain to him how he disrespected the game today, made fools of the city and the people who live(d) there. You can go further to explain how he re-inforces the stero-type that Cincy is a low-class bunch of hicks who are one paycheck removed from moving back to Parkersburgh, WV and their old trailer. You need to call out yourself Willy. You say not to reinfoce streotypes about Cincinnati yet you want to take a shot at West Virginia. f**k you hypocrite and your shot at WV. kingwilly
JB- Not a hypcrite in the least. I'm saying that the guys actions only contribute to the stereo-type for people with weak, stereo-type driven minds who tend to think that way....I love WV. Spent alot of time there, from Slatyfork, to New River Gorge, to Henry Clay State Park. I wrote it because nothing could be further from the truth. Not taking a shot at WV. Ok? My bad if it came off that way.

My home town and I don't appreciate you making it sound like a s**t hole. Also, I'm going to assume that you aren't The Fan's daddy, so stop lecturing like you are. It's about drunk Cincinnati fans interfering with a game. Betting or daring a drunk guy to hop a fence isn't exactly the thing movies are made of. Betting or daring a drunk guy to hop a fence isn't exactly the thing movies are made of.From the three guys sitting next to him, there was no bet, no discussion only him saying he had to go to the bathroom and next thing you know he is on the field. And from the media I have seen there has not been a lot of blasting - from Terry Bradshaw saying, "Sign up the security guard as that was the best hit of the game" to George Michael Sports Machine, "Brett Farve got picked off so much, he even got a take away from a fan"Espn called him a miscreant... which is the truth but I have not been made aware of a whole lot of blasting.I am sure it will once Rome/PTI/Furman etc... get on it - but it's not like everybody was very mad when there are girl streakers at golf courses... rob_justdmb
It was all over CBS and ESPN radio when I was driving home late last night. Rome hit it hard in the open. No mention on either of those shows I heard about 1 play from the game. The story I got was that there was a bet made. I got things second hand of course. Obviously you know than I, but I would go so far as to say it was pretty reliable. They must have have been intentionally misinformed. Junglelove4
You all are way over reacting to this whole thing. The fact is it was one drunk fan who got out of control, managed to get by security, and almost scored a touchdown. Thats all there is. Nothing more and nothing less. People will talk about it on sports shows because they either find it funny or they find it alarming the security didnt catch him before he made it out to the players. If someone choses to assume all Bengals fans get real drunk and run onto the feild then they are stupid and it doesnt really matter what they think anyways. So do yourself a favor and laugh about it and realize it probably won't ever happen again.
rob_justdmb
If love the game of football, you have a problem with it. If you just love the Bengals, it's probably the greatest thing you'll ever see in your life.

Parkersburg is a nice area, two years in a row, my HS baseball team took a spring training trip down to WV and we played teams around there. The People are very hospitable, courtious and it's not at all like those stereotypical trailer parks, It is a very beatuiful state.
