Jet23 Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 What they need to do is look at what Philadelphia did against San Diego. After getting lit up by Dallas, they obviously figured something out during their bye week, because they totally shut down LT and the Chargers. Lt had 17 carriers for 7 yards. Now that is getting it done. Quote
Stripes Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 A team that sucked aginst the run the 1st half of the season, and then during the 2nd half of the season shut it down? Philadelphia last season. When the put Trotter in the starting lineup, they became significantly better. The Bengals obviously don't have that option, but there's your answer. Quote
buck3y3d Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 This is coaching, poor tackling, and personel problems. I don't see this being fixed this season, or even completely alleviated next season without the help of free agency. We're more than 1 or 2 draft picks from being solid. Try 2 Dt's, 1 maybe 2 DE, and 1 LB from being solid. The Bengals next big test is against Indy, running wise, so maybe the bye week will help.Anybody else here want the Bengals to trade up and draft Hawk or Carenter (who will be around longer than Hawk)?
