UofLnMU Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 C'mon Chad, someone covered you. This checklist is becoming less of a good idea. Quote
combatbengal Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Two men covered him all game! Quote
Jet23 Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Come on Chad, I think you are taking some liberties with your little list. There was a picture in the bird cage liner (Enquirer) of Rashean Mathis knocking a ball away from you. Personally, I like Rudi's 'why I like Pie' list better. Quote
OrangeStripes Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Personally, I like Rudi's 'why I like Pie' list better. Very True. But i agree if chad johnson keeps marking a check under NO on every person that covers him, then noone is going to interview chad what he checks or not because they won't care because they won't believe him. Stripes Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 This entire list is and always has been stupid. Tear it up and forget about it Chad! It's a distraction. If you won't lose the list, then just check the YES, because it is deserved! Quote

That being the case, he may as well check no to everyone on the list. I hereby dismiss the list. Quote

That'll be the day. He's the most entertaining personality in the NFL right now. But he should have at least left it blank for the Jags -- marking a "yes" might even have been more motivating, right? Dimster28 Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 i believe it should be no, since he did get a touchdown in that game Quote
jditty47 Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 i believe its still funny. all u guys that liked it when we were winning need to shut up about it now that we lost once. one ball being knocked away in double coverage does not constitute a yes checkmark. if he hadnt burned them for a TD i would say ok but he did burn them for a sweet one in the corner. 5-0 on the checklist btw. bengalboomer7 Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I think you, me, the media, and everyone else is making WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too big of a deal about this. It's a piece of paper. Just remember what mom always said, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but you still can't cover 85." Quote
shatan Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 i think matthis deserves a no, he did let chad score a TD, however in the texans game he did not get a TD or even 80 yds receiving, therefore he should have marked a yes in their box. double covered or not, there should be a standard. Quote
Stripes Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 The standard has nothing to do with his numbers. Chad himself said that if his opposing corner can knock a ball away from him or bump him at the line, and stop him from making a play at any juncture of any game, then the YES box gets checked. That happened in Jacksonville, so the touchdown should not matter. Quote
CTBengalsFan Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 I think you guys are taking this a little too seriously. Half the time he doesn't even have the right CB listed... Quote
