Stripes
Excellent. Now the White Sox and the Astros need to win their series, and this October Classic will be much more interesting.
bengalindian
Yes, particularly because neither of those teams has won a world series. This would have been the perfect weekend if the Bengals and Bucks had won. But how bittersweet it was.
Stripes
Yes, particularly because neither of those teams has won a world series. Not to nitpick, but didn't the White Sox win one in 1917? I believe they did, but before this season, that was the last time they had even won a playoff series! I believe they won a couple other World Series before that as well. The Astros haven't ever won it, because before last season they really never had won a playoff series in their entire history. I believe they were 0-7.In any event, a World Series between these two teams would be great to watch.
