OrangeStripes
I felt that the Bengals Kicking was good but the punting was both up and down. First punt was about 65 yards, then there was a penalty which didnt help at all... then another crudy punt then another he couldnt get off until late and got it blocked... but after that larson did good which helped get good field position at the end. All im saying is that larson needs to become more consistant in his punts which all he has to do is work on it.
Stripes
Larson is normally pretty consistent. I don't think this will be a lasting problem at all. He booted a 69 yard and a 75 yard punt last night, both inside the 20 yard line. We all know he is capable, and despite a few bad ones yesterday, there's nothing to be concerned about. The_Next_Big_Thing
I don't blame the guy for having a couple bad punts after nailing one of the best of his career and having a guy make a stupid play and have to do it over. My concentration would be reduced as well.On the other hand, he has been consistent in every other game this season. Now he's getting more distance and still staying inside the 20. I love the kid.Our special teams has been solid for the most part until this game, and even then, they weren't *BAD*, they just had a few BAD plays. derekshank
Hey... I'm glad Larson showed he didn't let his bad first quarter get to him... but it is still mostly his fault that the Jags got their first 10 points. He's lucky it wasn't more with a 35 yard punt, a 25 yard punt, and a blocked punt... It's just not acceptable. Our offense should have been talented enough to get those mistakes back... but they are still very poor college level mistakes.

But it still should have only been a 20-25 yard difference max. Even if Myles doesn't use his brain, it's still essential to never never ever ever punt a 35 yarder that given them field position in your territory. tmai1323
Myles should know his job... He knew he stepped out.. He didn't even have to down the ball.
San Antonio Bengal
but it is still mostly his fault that the Jags got their first 10 points. So the punter was the one who gave up points? It wasn't Myles' brain fart? It wasn't the defense? What about the offense that didn't come out like gangbusters? In a team sport, you win as a team and you lose as a team. You can't hang those first 10 points (or the other 13 points scored) on one particular player.
