San Antonio Bengal
I thought the kid did wonderful against a tough Jax line and it's very nice to see yet another of Marvin's draft picks suceed. Considering this was his first game ever, how do you rate him?
Stripes
I'll give him a B+, but it is very close to that A-. Early on, he struggled a bit, as expected. When Marcus Stroud sacked Palmer, that pretty much set the tempo for the rest of the game. Ghiaciuc really settled into the game after that, and it feels good to have even more solid depth on the line.
The_Next_Big_Thing
For a first start of a second day pick, in his first season, at one of the toughest positions in the game, he did a damned good job.We have found the replacement for Old Man Braham. schweinhart
Dude gets an A in my book. Hard to ask for much more out of the guy under those circumstances. If he continues like that, he'll be the center of the future if he's not already the center of now. Damn impressive.
HairOnFire
Sorry, I couldn't give the kid an A due to the way he got blown backwards at least 2 or 3 yards on the critical short yardage 4th down attempt. Solid B.

Solid B.You need to look at the 4th down again. He had great push its just that play took so long to develop that linebackers knifed in after the initial block and made the tackle. Rudi is too slow for something like that. I'm not try to knock Rudi here because I love seeing him run over people, but if that would have been a QB sneak or a hand off to Perry they would have got the first down easily. The blocking was there.

But, it should not have been a 4th down anyway, that was a terrible spot.
DontPushMe
He had a VERY good first game considering what he was up against, I give him a B but that could of easily been an A.Too bad Ben Wilkerson is our center of the future though according to some of the geniuses on this site, because Ghiaciuc looks like he could handle the job. HairOnFire
Sheesh, I thought a solid B was a very good grade. So why would you insist I watch THAT play again? Wasn't nearly twenty times enough? He got blown up on that play. Even he admits it. So why should I feel differently?
Sportsdoc
I would like to see him when a nose tackle is over is head or when he has resp for Ray the shooter Lewis
bengalboomer7
Other than a few plays here and there I completely forgot Braham wasn't in there. The guy did a solid job, and keep in mind, those two DT's are Pro-bowlers
