BengalszoneBilly Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Just read on ESPN.com that Mularkey hired Sam to help straighten out Bledsoe. I always liked him, and I hope he does well...except against the Bengals! Quote
richmond_mat Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I'd be happy to have sam wischy wychy coaching our quarterbacks, but then coslett would be the coach and we'd suck Hopefully Bledsoe is as bad as I believe. I want to salute the new age BENGALS. Mikey is finally ripping the ambilical cord of nepotism from the franchise and hiring young guns with potential. I like it. Leslie frazier may be in his last year in cinti. piece Quote
chrishcovga Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I have to think that one of the biggest reasons why Kitna played so well, and why Palmer was as impressive as he was back in preseason '03 was due to the hiring of Ken Zampese. He resurrected Trent Green,Kurt Warner,Marc Bulger,he's worked with Bledsoe before, as well as countless others. The guy simply understands how to get the Quarterback to understand an offense. Wouldn't be surprised to see him turn into another Mike Shanahan down the line. But for now, he's our Qb coach. Quote
Kirkendall Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I'm happy for Wyche; he's a major staple in Bengals history and I hope he does great no matter who he plays. Quote
jjakq27 Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Jim McNally is also going to Buffalo...good luck to him also! Quote
