Bengals ripe for the picking.

Yep, two CRITICAL games coming up ... this week at Jacksonville, and then home against Pittsburgh. 0-2 and we are all crying and considering what might have been. 1-1 and we are feeling o.k., and looking forward to a tough second half of the season. 2-0 and the lights are out and we can get as hyped as we have ever been!

Yes, it will be a tough game, but I don't think the Jacksonville game spells doom for us. I think the tough game against Houston will be beneficial for this team. It gives them a good feeling about pulling through a tough game, but it also reminds them of what can happen in the NFL when you make mental errors and don't play up to your ability.

I think they'll work hard this week, and be as hyped as they've ever been for Sunday night.

Here's what I'm thinking(the big picture, if you will). Bengals are 4-0 with twelve games left to go. Finish .500 and you go 10-6 and probably make the playoffs. Right now the main two games I'm lookinga t is the Colts and the Steelers to see how we really stack up against perennial playoff teams. 80% of teams that start 4-0 have made the playoffs

We have Jacksonville, TENNESSEE -then- the Steelers.

Playing 2 road games in a row can wear down a team...I'm hoping we can beat them both then have a nice home-comming against the Steelers. By the time we get though those games then play GB and Balt....we will be well over due for that Bye week.

Im glad we get 2 weeks to get healthy and game plan for Indy! this could very well be 2 undefeated teams going at it on Nov. 20.

*crosses fingers*

This game doesn't spell doom.

The Bengals are coming off a near loss to a joke of a team, in a game rife with mental errors. Marvin Lewis will chew them out and spit them up. He will be all over them to come out of the gates on fire against the Jags.

The Bengals are a bit banged up, but it sounded like Marvin was confident that Chek will be more than ready to start next week, and our other olinemen will be back where they belong.

The Bengals defense will be fired up to get more turnovers. They didn't get it done this week in the turnover department, and they will want to show off in PRIME TIME!

The Bengals were 2-0 last year under the lights. They are 4-0 this year. At the end of next week, 5-0!

The game in JAX will be no harder than any other game.

Cut the mental errors and continue to execute and thye win. Leftwich is a big target with a slow wind-up/release. He will be seriously chased all day. Plus he telegraphs his throws, which Deltha and Tory will need to study to exploit.

The JAX D is good but has average at best CB's and no Donovan Darius, whihc is huge. I think if the line canget Plamer time, he will take them apart. Look for Perry to get even more work, in order to string out their good D line.

The only way the bengals lose is if they leave points on the field. Gotta get TD's on the road every trip to the red zone.

This Jax game spells doom. They are coming off of a home loss, on National TV, vs the undefeated Bengals. Leftwich got passed over for Palmer etc....... If the Bengals come out with a win Sunday, and we'll be talking homefield action.

Every team is ripe for the picking.

4-0 is all I know.
