derekshank
He's getting a lot of pub right now. This one was from the Houston Chronicle. Not a lot of real content, but its's a fun read.http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/3374536
Stripes
Johnson's behavior doesn't seem to offend opponents and fans, unlike that of Philadelphia's Terrell Owens or Oakland's Randy Moss. There you have it. I want to see this statement in more articles involving Chad.
smith288
Moss and Owens take themselves entirely too seriously. Chad just likes having fun. Though I have seen a smidgen of TO/Moss when things dont go his way (Palmer overthrows) Chad goes and makes his peace and Palmer knows its nothing big. Just emotion. 7/11
"there's no kind of corner that can cover me...he may need a third leg"made me laugh out loud. grandmaster quote, at it again...glad to see the media recognizes him as a hard worker and not just another t.o./moss type who runs his yup and acts like an ass...gotta love 7/11. What's better is that the opposition doesn't take it personally. They realize that he is just goofing around, and they play along. Dunta Robinson seemed very light hearted in that article, as opposed to angry and insulted, as the media played the Browns secondary out to be after the Pepto stunt. Chad is getting recognition for being one of, if not the, best receivers in the NFL, and that is well deserved. He has even said during ESPN interviews that he does have the celebration thing in common with Owens and moss, but that is where the similiarities end. His goal for this season is to reach the playoffs, as opposed to breaking the receiving yardage record as he stated in 2003.
The_Next_Big_Thing
I don't care what Chad says before a game. Be real folks, do you think any team we play doesn't want to up their game to try take away 7/11? He could say nothing at all and the game plan would still be stop number 85.
