combatbengal
Going undefeated in our DIV is nealy impossible. In 1969 we started out 4-0 and in 1975 we started 6-0. Can we break that 6-0 record? I think we have a good shot at it. I also think our toughest obstacle will be Pit!!!
Stripes
If we beat Jacksonville, and don't lose another stupid one in Tennessee, then that Pittsburgh game will hyped up like crazy. If we beat the Jaguars, then I will make a prediction for 7-0. turningpoint
If the jets can take them to OT I'd like to think we can beat them in regulation.
Stripes
Yep, I think the Jags will be very beatable. We have the better football team, no doubt about it. The only negative is that it is on the road during primetime. If our guys keep their heads straight, this could easliy be ANOTHER Bengal blowout. derekshank
If we beat Pitt going 7-0, we will definetly go 8-0, with GB coming to the Jungle in week 8. I would usually say that this is way too homerish to even talk about, but we are playing better than any team in the NFL right now, clicking on all cylinders. Let's just hope it keeps up. Week 3 is not the best time of the season to peak.
San Antonio Bengal
The Jax game will tell us a lot. So far we've won the games we should have won. That just means we're doing what we're expected to do. Playing Jax on the road in our only prime time game of the season will be a test. Can we win? Of course! We can also lose too. I just have a sneaking feeling that the Jax game is going to be close, but we'll emerge victorious... of course, let's see what kind of humiliation we can lay down on David Carr first. Then we'll worry about Leftwich.

No one anywhere thought we would do that to the Vikings, and a lot of people had us losing to the Bears... most had it being a very close game... it wasn't.The Jags will be our toughest test yet... but that's not saying much, is it? Leftwich is getting killed every single week. If it's a close game, then it's a close game, but I haven't seen anything from either the Jags or Cincy that would lead me to believe we should struggle with them. cincykent
This is the best Bengals team I have ever seen 3 weeks into the season. The '81 team did not start to dominate until mid season. The '88 team started 3-0 but had some very close games. It is possible, but not likely, that we could go into the Colts game undefeated. The Colts may be undefeated too. That would be amazing.
combatbengal
I disagree with derekshank. I think Pitt will be our toughest game. Those guys have some talent and can put some points on the board.
walzav29
If I had to pick which game that I want them to win between Jax and Pitt, I'll take Pitt. If the Bengals are undefeated against Pitt they'll say no one is giving them respect and really get hyped up the Steelers will win. If Jax beats the Bengals then everyone will say the Bengals are over-rated and Pitt will kill them. Which will result in the Bengals getting hyped up and beating Pitt. I want them to beat them both, but it will be tough.
The_Next_Big_Thing
We are going 18-0 this season! (Inserted for the homers)

I simply said that the Jags will be our toughest test... yet. Meaning, they are by far the best team we will have faced. That's not saying much though. No one anywhere thought we would do that to the Vikings, and a lot of people had us losing to the Bears... most had it being a very close game... it wasn't.I guess I don't put too much stock into blowout wins. We should have won all three of our games and we have. That's all we've done so far. Just because we blowout the Vikes doesn't necessary make us better than a team that wins by a touchdown. Don't get me wrong, I love the winning and the way we're doing it. The Jax game will be the hardest one to date in the season. They are a good team and it's in their place. Good team, on the road, under the lights is why I think it will be close. Now, remember that "close" for this year's Bengals is single digits or something. The Jags will be our toughest test yet... but that's not saying much, is it? Leftwich is getting killed every single week. If it's a close game, then it's a close game, but I haven't seen anything from either the Jags or Cincy that would lead me to believe we should struggle with them.I'm always leary of AFC non-divisional road games (unless its at the Texans or something). Just my nature I suppose.

I have just been video taping both of their games to see what we can beat them at and what they might have to offer but so far, we might just tear em' apart.
