richmond_mat
Since I don't watch a whole lot of video, my choices are not current,'Serpico' is one of my favorites'The World According to Garp' is excellent.'If you like your comedy on the dry side then 'Dr. Strangelove' is a must. Every time I see it I marvel at the cast. It's comical to see little james earl jones. The voice is the same.If you feel like crying with your lady then 'Terms of Endearment' will hit the spot.Hitchcocks 'birds' is good too! Boobie Clark
These days I mostly get to watch kids movies - Shrek is great. All time, geez...American Pie 1 is pretty damn funny. I like several Adam Sandler movies. Midnight Run with Robert DeNiro is a movie I'll watch everytime it's on. Black Hawk Down and Red Dawn are good, too.World According to Garp is good, but I liked the book better. John Irving has some pretty good stories to tell, though his recent work isn't as good - IMHO.Favorite movie not yet released (or made!!): Boobie and Sandra Bullock at the Motel 6!! Kirkendall
haha i notice halloween 3 is left off makes sence that one really sucked and no micheal myers i mean come onYea Griz, I'm a major Halloween fan. Part 3, I understand its purpose, but overall as a film, it sucked. BTW - Both H20 and 8 were pretty bad. They've turned the Halloween series into mainstream teeny bopping crap, it still has me in a rage. I feel like wearing a certain mask. BengalszoneBilly
I just saw a very funny movie I rented last night called "Intolerable Cruelty", with George Clooney and Katherine Zeta-Jones. If anyone here has been through a divorce, you can identify with this flick!Cincinnati sidenote here...George Clooney is a homeboy. My mom and his mom sang together at their church in the suburbs of Cincy when I was a kid. I remember going to their house as children, but he was a few years younger, and was just another kid. Who'd a thunk it at the time, eh?
