Yeah he is far from finished but he might not even be playing if it weren't for the injuries to to the Seahawk recieving corps. He definitely wasn't worth the 2.2 mill he was due to be paid. If he would have stayed Chris Henry wouldn't have seen the field as much as he has even though they play different spots.

Dude has caught six passes in seven games despite the Seahawks top two WRs being out. Hasn't returned a punt since (I think) the second week. He's not worth the minimum, let alone $2.2M.

He wasn't getting $2.2 million, that was his cap hit, $1 million of which (the remainder of his original signing bonus) is still on the Bengals' books this year. His salary would have been $1.2 million. He was replaced -- on the roster, at least -- by Kevin Walter, who even at league minimum ought to be making something like $400k or $500k. So the net savings was maybe $800k. Warrick getting cut was never about money, it was about whether he could still play, and I think he's answered that question pretty clearly.

As for his lack of catches, that's a function of the Seattle offense, which is built around Shaun Alexander. Seattle is 17th overall in passing attempts, and doesn't have any WR among the top 30 reception leaders. Warrick is apparently being used mostly in a downfield blocking role.
