IGN did their annual season predictions by simulating the whole season on madden.

Bengals 3-13-1. HAHAHA If that happens take me to the nearest gun dealer. What a terrible simulation that was.

They have the ravens in the super bowl with the falcons and the facons winning.

This is a useless simulation. Packers 1-15? Not with Favre under center.

Cardinals 1-15? Nope.

Raiders 1-15? Of course not.

Can't take anything seriously from that.

By the way...did the Bengals get a tie in their bye week or what? 17 games... Oh I see....3-12-1 in the thread title.

Y'know, I like IGN. I really do.

They've hipped me to that AWESOME looking "The Warriors" videogame, which I will have in my hands when it is released.

But, this is a buncha bulls**t.

Madden blows.

It's worthless. They could do the exact same simulation a second time and have the Bengals winning the division. According to Madden, it's all a crapshoot.

Of course it's a crapshoot. It is a video game simulation. It takes into account none of the intangibles of a football game. Just thought for perspective I’d take a look at last year’s simulation, vs the actual season.

The computer was wrong by an average of 2 ½ games per team. That means that just on average you can expect your team to either win or lose 2 ½ more than their prediction. My personal favorites though were these.

Steelers (prediction) 8-8 (actual) 15-1

Chiefs (prediction) 11-5 (actual) 7-9

Chargers (prediction) 5-11 (actual) 12-4

Buccaneers (prediction) 13-3 (actual) 5-11

If they were as wrong about the Bengals this year as the Bucs last year, we will not go 3-12-1 but rather 11-4-1... I'd take that.
