walshfan Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Wow, Brad, that was quick...I just hung up! What was the topic about Orange? Quote
The Big Orange Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Jeff was complaining that no one was calling in talking about the Bengals and he was saying..."I'll believe it when I see it" and I called up saying I believe it even before I see it since i think that all of the pieces are now in place for a good year.I said that I didn't think I was a blind homer since I think they will do well this year. Then he asked me where I was from or what I was doing in Atlanta and I told him I was a youth pastor and the Team Chaplain on the bengalszone.com website...I also said I was aka The Big Orange in there somewhere. walshfan Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Good job! I tried to get a plug in on WLW with Andy Furman once and he hung up on me saying the station wasnt a advertisement for a website.. complete a**h***!I enjoy asking some questions of the radio when I have a chance.. Ive asked Lapham numerous questions about the team.. He told me that Warrick will never have the moves he once did and that Pollack will be the inspirational leader of the team once he "fits" in... he also said that the only way the Browns can contain our offense is by turnovers.. The Big Orange Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I think those comments appear to be right on. I'm gonna call Jeff often cause he asked me to call back and the guy answering the phones off air really wants me to call back...so I will, and I'll keep plugging the site until I'm chatting with Madieu on the forum. walshfan Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I got to talk to Kiewan and Williams on WLW awhile back.. I told Kiewan that the fans expected him to be the enforcer out there and he laughed and told me that he'd try to live up to those expectations.. He does like to put a hit on people.. Saw he play in high school ( Columbus, Ohio) and college (florida) and he's just a very personable kid.. His knowledge of the game ( where to be on the field and what everyone should be doing is remarkable) Ive heard coaches praise him on his instincts and football smarts... Quote
The Big Orange Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Boy, you can tell that guy is dying for an INT...as easily as they seem to come for Tory, this guy is dying. You could tell by flat out laying himself out for the one that was taken back against Indy.Hopefully he'll keep taking his frustration out on opposing teams when he tackles. The boy can hit. He, Landon, and Madieu aren't big guys, but the can hit. So can Odelicious. Quote
