Antaaj Hawthorne was a steal!

When I was watching the draft I was yelling at the TV for the Bengals to draft Hawthorne.Hawthorne is a stud.I cant believe they are blowing another chance to to get him.The Bengals have seldom picked up guys from the final cut downs,despite of the fact that there are guys that could upgrade them at positions of need every year.The Bengals have littered the cut down list with alot of red meat for the rest of the league to chomp on.Remember Kelley Greg ,the Bengals cut Gregg only to have him be an anchor for the Ravens for years(and years to come).Greg is the kind of guy the Bengals have tried to get in free agency for years.Steve Foley, a more recent cut,was picked up last year and only put up pro bowl type numbers including 10 sacks.One of the few times I remember them picking some one it was a DB that they later cut only to have him picked up by the Broncos and start ( I think he even made the Pro Bowl).This year they have cut Elton Patterson and Langston Moore,two guys that could really help and kept some question marks.Some other team is sure to get fat chomping on them.

I'm guessing that if the Bengals would have drafted Hawthorne Pushy would have ridiculed the pick for a week....only to reverse himself by calling it a great pick later on. Let's face it, he did it with Perry. He did it with Madieu. He did it with....

Actually I've already referenced back to my posts on Perry, showing you links with proof that I never was against that pick, the fact that you still cling to that being a thing is laughable and just shows how stupid you really are. As for madieu, i said hes a good player but he will never be as good as Corey Dillon, the player we traded away to get him, which is true. As good as Madieu might be, he will never be Dillon. Whats funny is I tell you this every time you try and make a comment like that, but it just cant get through your thick head. I feel sorry for those who have to be around you all the time.

true, but with rudi on our team Dillon has no value really, i mean we would of come ahead if we traeed madiu for dillon an a 7th round pick....the way i see it, it made our team much much better.

Not to get too meta, but if this were my website, I'd have special boards for slamming DPM, for allowing Spain his flights of fancy, and for discussion of video games and the Bengals' representation therein.

Not to get too meta, but if this were my website, I'd have special boards for slamming DPM, for allowing Spain his flights of fancy, and for discussion of video games and the Bengals' representation therein.

Not a bad idea at all, but you'd have to add ALL of DPM's posts to the new forum, and not just the responses, since he's now admitted how often he lies...err....takes his own flights of fancy.
