ShulaSteakhouse
Another reality check:Patriots - SuperBowl Champions 3 out of last 4 yearsBengals - Have failed to even achieve a winning record for the last 14+ seasonsConfidence, momentum, proven ability to win = Patriots meaningless preseason, because they have recent success to fall back on with proven players who've been there, done that.Doesn't mean the Bengals can't be just the opposite of their poor preseason play once the season starts and do well, but there's reason for concern. But this comparison holds no water IMO. walzav29
The moral is that you can't get worked up in the preseason thats it. Friday night was horrible. I didn't have that feeling watching the Bengals since the first Browns game last year. They responded after that. I think that it is good it happend in preseason. These guys need to be humbled a bit and getting spanked by the NFC champions was just that.
