mtmeece
Once again I know that according to most of you all preseason means nothing, however after looking at the stats I noticed that if the trend of 2.6 sacks per game continues durring the regular season it will add up to 42.6 by the end of the season and if that plays out the Bengals might want to consider kepping all 4 Qb's

I was using all three Qb's in all 3 games with a total of 12 quarters played. Casey's rating is hardly an indicator of his abilities given the few snaps he has had thus far, however if one was to assume that the bengals first team offense plays there opponents first team defense and 2nd's play 2nd's and so on and so forth. this meaningless sack stat is not that far fetched. Wooo Hooo! Let's cut Carson Palmer and Jon Kitna and use the money to sign Corey Simon..... Or maybe we can trade Carson Palmer to Chicago for Tommie Harris and Chris Harris, and trade Jon Kitna to Dallas for Roy Williams and Marcus Spears.(FOR THE IGNORANT: YES IM BEING SARCASTIC)

As I am sure you realized, I was joking about Casey Bramlet. As for your point about the sacks, did you happen to notice the flip side of that coin ?Take a look ...If the trend of 2.6 sacks per game continues during the regular season it will add up to 42.6 by the end of the season but the 3.3 sacks per game that our defense is averaging would add up to 53.3 by the end of the season. We had 37 sacks last year while giving up 31 sacks, and Atlanta lead the entire NFL with a total of 48 sacks.I think that is pretty safe to say that the preseason stats are just about meaningless. Yes indeed preseason stats are meaningless. I was merely practicing my pre season sarcasm/ ignorance and never suggested that we trade any body for anything only that at the present clip we may require the services of many a backup Qb.
