whodey85
We shoud keep him (at least for now) since the reds are doing good with him.
Stripes
I don't think it matters what happens with Narron so much as with Verron Ruhle. The pitching has improved greatly since Gullet left, and the is the only factor that has been keeping this team in the pits for so long. AMC
Keep Ruhle for sure. Narron will be a candidate. The most important factor is the price-tag with Lindner. If he's cheap he'll stay possibly...I say grab Jim Tracy if fired by LA....he's a hometown guy....
Kirkendall
I don't know. The team is playing good baseball now since Narron took over. They've reacted very positively with him...At least the call for O'Brien's head finally have died. Things are looking up, wouldn't y'all agree? CBin2k7
I agree things are looking up, but didn't Miley have similar success when he first took over. I agree that they should keep Narron, unless they find someone better. I can't wait to see how Homer Bailey continues to progress.
Kirkendall
I can't wait to see how Homer Bailey continues to progress. Saw the Dragons game Thursday and Bailey was pitching. No one could catch up to his fast ball -- NO ONE. It reached 96-97 MPH range. He only went four inning because, I'm guessing, a high pitch count, but this kid will be SICK! AMC
I think Ruhle deserves a large amount of credit. He was director of pitching in the minors before coming up. And now look at Milton and Claussen. Not to mention the growth of minor league pitching depth. Was Gullett that burned out on ideas??? I wouldn't mind keeping Narron. There could be upgrades but the Reds would not pay the price.
CBin2k7
Hey Kirk, how does Bailey's other pitches look?
