Section 310
Below is a link to USA Today's brief analysis of the QB and RB situation. They have premium picks, buyer beware and bang for your buck. Both Carson and Rudi are listed at the top of the discount bin.Personally, I hope to be able to grab Palmer in the middle rounds of our draft. I think he can put up numbers as impressive as Vick (can't throw downfield), Hasselbeck (inconsistent), Favre (old and has a crappy line), Brady (not a big stat guy), and possibly McNabb (if TO gets himself suspended). My only concern with Rudi is that he could lose a ton of snaps to Perry this season.http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/fa...asy-qb-rb_x.htm
The_Next_Big_Thing
310, If Rudi loses snaps to Perry, he will end up getting more yards per carry, and he's the one they are going to hand the ball to at the goal line. He's still a good pick. (Handcuff him to Perry in case of injury).

Vick's fantasy value is in his rushing yards. Assuming your league rewards rushing yards more highly than passing yards, Vick is a much better pick than Palmer. I'd still take Favre because he'll be flinging it 50 times a game. I agree with you on the others though.
ShulaSteakhouse
Vick's too much of an injury risk, will be his whole career - you can't scramble/run that much in the NFL and not get constantly hurt - it's why so many teams have gone away from that and back to the prototypical pocket passer. Vick is just overrated. Let your RB do the scrambling, that's why he's there - Vick does it way too often and unless he learns how to do it more judiciously and become more of a passing threat, he'll always be sitting out games, if not seasons.Palmer is my back-up to Manning, hehe, only 8 teams in our league. Rudi is my 2nd back to Dominick Davis and I also have Lamont Jordan for more insurance.
CTBengalsFan
I got Palmer in round 8, so the first seven rounds I just got the best RBs and WRs I could find. I got Delhomme as back up too.
