Stripes
I say it'll be, in this order: CJ, TJ, K-Dub, Henry, Walter, Russell

DontTakeAkili
My guess is that the six (in order) will beChad, TJ, Henry, Washington, Walter, Tab PerryIt's a shame about P-Dub, but I don't think he serves a role on the team. If all he could do before was catch slants in the slot, make a guy miss, and get down, and now he may have lost a step, what can he offer? When he was a 100%, he wasn't big, fast, or blessed with amazing hands. I mean, if the best description you get is shifty or sneaky-fast, it doesn't say a lot about you.Chad is all-world. TJ and Walter are great (ok, good) possession receivers, Henry and Washington have the potential to be a 1-2 tandem some day, and Perry will be a special teams star. IckeyShuffle
you guys are missing cliff russell in all of this. Marvin loves his speed and size and did a pretty good job returning kickoffs on Friday night. Now that they have activated Pdub, his salary is in the books so he'll make the team or a trade. I don't see how they can cut either walter or russell cuz of special teams play so a trade is the only thing that makes sense. Pdub and Washington are the most logical trade baits. Might go like this:ChadHoushPdub/Washington (whichever one isn't traded by game 1)HenryRussell WalterPerry on practice squad. Too bad Brousard lacks size cuz he has the speed and moves. Kazkal
Perry on practice squad will = him goneRussel did a good job on kickoffs but so did everyone he just got the most trys.Perry got 24/25 yards? on his first kick off? I say he deserves a better shot you guys are just ruling him out because he's a 6th round pick don't forget we pi cked TJ up in the 7thI say it will beCJ,TJ,Pdub,Hdub,CH,Tab
ArmyBengal
I know we have to take into consideration the Special Teams squad (I think we have a good one) but the only way both Walter and Russel make this team is if they keep 7 instead of 6 WR's or a trade is made in regards to K-Wash or one of the others, but still only see one of them making it either way...Chad, TJ, P-Dub, K-Wash, Henry, Walter (No trade made) (Add Perry if keeping 7)Chad, TJ, P-Dub, Henry, Walter, Perry (Trade made) (Maybe Russel if keeping 7)Just my two cents...WHODEY !!! bengalboomer7
No one ever mentions who's been throwing them the ball. Warrick has Never, ever, had anyone decent throwing it to him, and don't say Kitna, either. I think if Warrick is healthy, he is a more talented player tahn TJ. That doesn't mean he's better on the field cause that involves variables like toughness, durablility, etc. But warrick is the more explosive player, the better blocking WR, and the better third down reciever. So why couldn't he upstage TJ for the #2.In other words, count me as another one who thinks he has a chance to be #

No wonder noone takes your posts seriously... first your saying who the 6 will be when they havent even given all of them a chance in preseason to win the last two spots.. Then you say Warrick isnt worth the money.. By the way, is it your money?I think Marvin wanted Warrick because he thinks he can contribute by catching and blocking...... cincyhokie
Peter Warrick when healthy is arguably one of the most important parts of this offense. He is the perfect complement to CJ and he is a great blocker. In 2003, he was the clutch player on this team.I'm still waiting for Kelly Washington to show what he can do...CJTJWarrickHenryTab PerryKevin WalterIf ANY of the recievers get put on the PS, they will be GONE before the season starts, no question. The NFL is thin on receiving talent, like MLB is thin on pitching.I like Broussard too, I am hoping the team can find a spot for him....he's got alot of upside in my opinion. DontTakeAkili
Guys, I love the Bengals as much as anyone. But it's time to admit that Warrick was a mistake pick. Forget everything about his college career and where he was drafted. Would he make the team? No. The potential is gone. It may have never been there. He was a great college player - like Demond Howard, Andre Ware, and Rashan Salaam - but he is a mediorce receiver living off his college reputation. Its time to cut bait on him. We missed a pick. It's OK. Let's get over it and move on.And I agree with two points - put Tab Perry on the Pratice Squad and he is gone and Cliff Russell SHOULD make this team. He wont because the Bengals envision Perry as Russell+hands in the passing game.

MVP against 9-0 ChiefsHow is he a mistake pick? Because he hurt himself worse by coming back early from surgery to try and help this team make the playoffs?Let's watch Warrick in the next few games to see if he is a mistake. ackley1
walter did look good but i don't think he has much of a chance. hopefully washington steps it up this week. henry should've had 2 td's in that game. he's going to be pretty good. A pounding running game.4. 1865 TOTAL yards in 3 years5. 11 Total TDsOh, and in 2003, he didn't have 10 TDs. He caught 7 passes for touchdowns, and ran one kick back for a touchdown.A first round, number four overall pick should not be praised because he earned MVP ONCE because they had a 100 yard receiving game and scored two TDs in the same game. Yeah, the likes of Frerotte, LeBeau, the overall hapless football team, it's all conducive to career years....WHO did have a good season before Lewis got here? Corey Dillion that's it.You'd rather keep Kelly Washington who has showed nothing over Warrick who has at least showed something.

Washington isn't slated to make $2.2 million.Washington hasn't had the opportunities to shine like Warrick did.Warrick was supposed to be a player who could change things around here by being good enough to be a stud wide receiver. He wasn't. Chad Johnson, on the other hand is.

Housh helped Chad in 2004. It goes the other way too. Chad helped Warrick and Housh.Washington COULD have stepped up in 2004, instead it was Housh. It's OK. Let's get over it and move on.You might be right about one thing: Warrick was a mistake pick. We could have had Julian Peterson, Keith Bullock, Corey Simon, Shaun Alexander... Hell, we could have even drafted Brady if we had the cajones. I've been as disappointed as the next guy with how our fourth overall pick has produced, but there is no way anyone can convince me that Warrick is merely a mediocre receiver. This may sound kind of stupid but I think what separates Warrick from other receivers is that P-dub seems to possess an uncanny sense of balance. A play that most comes to mind was against undefeated KC, I think it was the first play of our drive, second-half (?), play-action, Kitna throws long over the middle to Warrick who is then hit by the safety, yet somehow keeps his balance while spinning and then takes off for the endzone. I can remember seeing a whole bunch of other times where Warrick takes a hit that would knock any normal receiver down, yet somehow Warrick maintains his feet and keep the play alive. When the ball's in P-dub's hands, good things happen. This is no mediocre receiver. A healthy 03 version of Warrick is the second-best receiver on our team, in my opinion, and will make our offense that much better.
