bengalsLB
if i'm not mistaken pollack will be used as a situational passrusher this seasonwhich is right where he should be passrushing is his specialty and he dominated as a pass-rusher in college so he should make a big impact on third downs kinda like geathers did last year except better i expect 6-8 sacks for pollack... who knows suggs won defensive rookie of the year as a situational pass-rusher maybe pollack will be expect him to make a big impact this season
Kazkal
sounds about right and mybe they'll send him in longer if they have a huge lead and can afford rookie mistakes

membengal
If he gets in over the weekend, still plenty of time for him to make a huge impact on this team in 2005. And probably as more than a situational pass rusher. The good news is that he won't have to be rushed onto the field, and will have to earn his spot over Landon. I like it when internal competition forces players to be at their best just to get on the field.Really, in the end, what Pollack's holdout has deprived us as fans of is the chance to see him in uniform in Kentucky and read the occasional note from Hobson or Curnutte that "Pollack is turning heads with his play in camp". I miss that as much as the next person, but am guessing the work put in over the summer won't all be gone when he get back.As long as he doesn't come back and suffer a muscle tweak... walshfan
Ill be interested in knowing what kind of physical routine Pollack has maintained to stay in "football" shape.....Im pretty confidant that he's read the playbook and knows that aspect of the game.....I dont think he's going to be out of shape at this point.. Its a matter of getting reps as a linebacker that will take time....
