Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Well its pretyy simple! Underrated, Braham the guys been a stud for years and is responsible for alot of CDs success. Overrated, Tory this guy aint no probowler, he got lucky last year great hands but he cover skills or above average at best! So whose yours bengaldom? Quote
7/11 Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 has it been a week already? under- landonover- tory Quote
Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Author Report Posted August 9, 2005 Wow Tory has two, I thought I might be way off base with that one! I hope your right about LJ because Im his new biggets fan! Quote
DontPushMe Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I hope my post doesnt turn this into another Perry/RJ thread, but these are my picks.Underrated: Chris Perry - One of the most talented guys in the building. Dont believe me? The quote is from ML. Yet for some reason every bengal fan hates on him.Overrated: Rudi Johnson - Not a pro bowler. Not a top RB, not a franchise player. Quote
Stripes Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Underrated:Rudi Johnson, a pro bowl caliber player, top 10 RB, franchise player. Keiwan Ratliff, already a strong cover corner/punt returner, and looks to become a solid starter Overrated:Tory James, great hands, great awareness, but slow, gets beaten as often as he makes playsThe best part is how long it took me to think of a legitamitely overrated player. Our roster is loaded! Quote
The Big Orange Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Actually that was a good post, DPM...The question was asked...you answered it...and gave your reasonsNothing wrong with that, I just think the whole Dillon thing kinda rubs people the wrong way Quote
Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Author Report Posted August 9, 2005 I could see the Rudi he got alot of garbage time in his stats in the philly game! Its true but you also have to say when that line was banged up he got positive yards from behind the line. If Bach gets out in front of him he could have a better year than CD! He is just a work horse pure and simple! However he does have great balance from what Ive seen from him! I thought you guys would kill me for the -tory thing, maybe Im not so blind! Quote
The Big Orange Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Underated: DelthaOverated: Willie Quote
kingwilly Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 C. Perry is overrated. Until he produces, it is all hype. ALL HYPE. Bosworth was talented, too. Prove us wrong, Chris, PLEASE ! Steinbach is underrated. Having him at full strength gives him a legit shot at the Pro Bowl. Quote
Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Author Report Posted August 9, 2005 Gotta disagree Willie didnt alow a sack last year, he could have been the MVP, I hate the way we are treating this guy he wants to reup and we cant give him a deal come on! Another guy who hasnt played a down is holding out, and Willie is a classic team guy and he doesnt get another payday! I dont get it! Quote

Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Author Report Posted August 9, 2005 Hey Tory got lucky, I remeber the game when Keiwan went in for deltha they were throwing at Tory after half time! Quote
buck3y3d Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Under: Landon Johnson -could be a legitimate starter (if not here, somewhere)Over: Simmons - A solid linebacker, but seems to me if he is slowing down pretty quicklyOn Rudi: I think he is solid, he always seems to at least get back to the line of scrimmage even when he gets hit in the backfield (happens a lot). Whoa.Under-rated among forum members in this post: Tory James That's surprising to you isn't it, Captain Kirk. I actually believe that he had 2 real good years these last 2 and this year he will either be our 4th, 5th, or 6th best O-linemen this year.I think he has peaked and he will deteriorate quickly...but I could be the dumbest guy on this board......of course, I have excellent competition... KEEPSHOVELING Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 over:Tory Jamesunder:kelly washingtonwillie is a great linemen but he's getting long in the tooth. how many linemen do you know over 33 thats considered a stud? Quote
cHaD711Johnson Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Under- PDub...Everybody is writing this dude off . I think he comes in and is the #2 receiver by years in , Contract year, determined to prove hisselfOver-Rudi..No breakaway speed. An average back with big numbers behind a great line. Good Clock eater, but not a prime time back. One of my favorite guys on the team though. Quote
Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Author Report Posted August 9, 2005 Wow big O do you prefer I say I was on the balcony you erased my post? You americans flip me out! I would last ten seconds there! Quote
The Big Orange Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I didn't erase anything, I was just trolling, if you must know. Quote

I'd say, at best, you're the 4th, 5th, or 6th dumbest guy on the board. But actually, I think you're probably right. I think Willie's health issues last year were more severe, and will have a greater long-term effect, than we've previously been lead to believe.Mind you, I also think the world of Willie and wouldn't dream of ever calling him overrated. Hopefully, they'll be able to work out a financial situation where he can quietly step away from the mantle of 'best o-lineman' and just be the locker room glue that goes along for the ride as we reach the next plateau. My overrated is Brian Simmons. My underrated is Madieu Williams. Very soon, when people talk about the best safety in the AFCN, or in the league as a whole, the words "Ed Reed" won't spill so easily off the tongue. Quote
Spain Posted August 9, 2005 Author Report Posted August 9, 2005 Simmons got honorable mention with me also! But Tory went to hawaii and simmons wil never touch it! Quote

What do you mean landon could be a legit starter. He already is. Underrated - Jeremy Johnson, the dude is a beast and will lead the way again this year for RUDI.Overrated - No one is too overrated exept maybe TJ Quote
