Defender
My opinion is that these agents have let their pride interfere with the negotiating process. Pollack could satisfy the Bengals and his own interests by letting these scheister lawyers be someone else's problem. Anyone else's thoughts?(Spain need not reply because we all know what he thinks...)
bengalboomer7
Anyone who answers this thread anyway else is probably lying. But I'd be trying to get as much as I could and I think everyone else would do the same.
7/11
he's his own man. money rules the world and yeah, it's easy for us to sit around and say "what's half a million dollars to a millionaire?" but that's the power of the american cabbage. most would do the same thing. i don't blame condon and co...he works for pollack after all. if this is how pollack chooses to handle his CAREER, then so be it. i don't blame him. if i was working at 'company X' and had a chance to make an extra million bucks over the next 5 years, believe i'd do it. Stripes
I said I'd take what was on the table, but I do not disagree with Pollack. Whatever they are offering him is likely a eye popping sum of money, more than enough to get me by for a good while, so I'd take that, and get to playing the beloved football. Perhaps if I would perform, when the deal is up, I could go for a better contract. That said, I respect what Pollack is doing, for financial security, his family, or whatever. I respect even more that the Bengals aren't making fools of themselves and are holding strong to their side of the issue, as would the best franchises in this league. DontPushMe
Fire your douchebag agents and get someone who actually has your best interests in mind and not their own?Such foolishness. Yeah, I bet Pollack hates money. If i were him, id just sign anything thrown at me right away so I could practice more for less money! Some of you guys really need to think. Spain
Il repeat it again, if your looking at your career its better to get into camp, while you run the risk of getting hurt while making a lil less. The rewards of a full camp gets you that much closer to a big contract. If you hold out you could lose your job get behind and have everyone calling you a bust till next year! Thats why I think this dude is a retard!

You don't know anything except that he hasn't signed. You've started about six threads bitching about him not signing. GET LOST!!!! Nobody else wants to hear it. bengalskyspy
This will all be forgotten and insignificant in a few years. DP has leverage now and he must take it. Look at it this way, David must have freaking ice water in his veins to hold tight when millions are already on the table. Do we want poker player who wets himself when the pot gets too rich, or a cold-blooded player that just wont blink. This will all be resolved in due time, and we'll have a man of steel, not just some awestruck kid.Patience for Pollack.
