HoosierCat
And a-waaaaa-yyy we go! http://pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review...d/s_360114.htmlJohnson, the Cincinnati Bengals' brassy and brilliant fifth-year wide receiver, lit up Wednesday when he realized his interviewer was from Pittsburgh."Hey, no one up there can cover me," he said, flashing a smile that features eight gold teeth. "Make sure you tell them I said hi before you give them the trash."Then came the trash, as Johnson issued a direct but somewhat playful challenge to Steelers' cornerbacks Willie Williams and Deshea Townsend and safeties Chris Hope and Troy Polamalu."You tell Deshea and what's the other guy's name? Yeah, Willie. You tell them I said it's on. You tell Troy I said I'm gonna run him over. And you tell -- man, who's the free safety? Chris Hope. You tell Hope I'm going to give him all elbows." HairOnFire
I'd be more impressed if Matt Schobel called out Troy Polamalu, bragging that he was actually going to tackle him if he ever picked off another one of Palmer's passes. I swear he whiffed four times on THAT play.

There are times I wish professional athletes would grow up and, more importantly, Shut The F**k Up! Regardless of the timing, this is guaranteed bulletin board fodder. Kirkendall
By the time we play them, this will all be forgotten. What? I doubt that BIG TIME. His comments will be posted all over Pittsburgh's locker-room.I don't mind the talking, its when you talk, and don't back it up (ie. Chad's Pepto package to Cleveland's secondaries) that bothers me. I like the flare, it adds to the rivalry.... (something we need to get back on track).
BengalByTheBay
Things you can count on:death, taxes,Chad will always be open,...so will his mouth.I remain pleased that his bluster is at least directed the right way, supports the team and its success, and does not yet involve a corporate promotion (ie, he's not yet in regular season form). Black'n'Orange
I love it! Good to see some swagger back in Cincy! Besides it's all in good fun :player:

joshh967
I think his talking is kind of what keeps the team alive. The fact is chad is a star and like every other NFL team, the star knows how to talk a lot. IMO chad is finally reaching that point where he has a team, quarterback, and consistant skill to back up his talk. Most of what he says is all in fun but like said before, he needs to back up what he says.
joshh967
On a second note, i found this... http://mboard.steelers.com/fanzone/mboard/news/34387from the steelers board, a few give chad his props but most are ignorant, blinded by the fluke 15 win season
