AMC Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 Not I....I didn't even know the draft was today...Is hockey going to struggle to get back on it's feet???? Quote
Kirkendall Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 Not in America, b/c I don't think it really was big in the States anyway. If it were baseball or football, then yea, but NHL? Nah, most NHL fans will just be happy to see it and won't boycott the sport. Anyway, other than NASCAR and NFL, NHL has the most loyal fans in any sport.Finding new fans though? Yea, I think they could have a lot of problems with that. Quote
jditty47 Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 um no one pays attention to baseballs draft in america. Quote
bengalindian Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 um no one pays attention to baseballs draft in america. What do you mean? I had a draft week party and I invited everyone at the forum. It was a killer time, since no one showed up, so I had to watch it all myself. Quote
AMC Posted July 30, 2005 Author Report Posted July 30, 2005 um no one pays attention to baseballs draft in america. because no one has ever heard of a majority of these NHL and MLB prospects because they do not rely heavily on college kids....of course the NFL is diffrerent...BUT, here in Tampa, the Lightning finally get to raise their Stanley Cup banner....long overdue....I have to admit I like going and watching the Lightning...
