izzi Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I posted on here a few weeks back saying I was trying to get hold of tickets for the Bengals Packers game, well I now have 2 tickets! Section 309, so up high but fairly central. Paid more than the ticket price but not as much as I've seen them going for. From the SeatData website it looks like a good spot, but I'm a bit confused as the tickets have 'obstructed view' printed on them. But I can't see anything in the photo that could obstruct the view! So now I'm very excited!! We never really get Bengals games on TV here so watching one live will be excellent, and I'll have to be careful not to go mad in the Pro Shop I just need to sort out the details now.. just wee things like flights and hotels! Stripes Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 Good for you pal. I used to crave tickets like a racoon craves dumpster stench. I went to my first Bengals game last season, and it was as god as it gets. 23-22 over the Giants. I got a ticket pack this season for the Colts and Bills and I can't wait. Quote
Bengal_Brad Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I've been to PBS a few times and to be honest I can't think of anywhere their may be an "obstructed view". Actually I don't think there is a bad seat in the place. Congrats, I'll be at that game too!!WHO DEY! Quote
Bengalbob Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I've had seats in section 303 or 304 that were officially "Obstructed View". The obstruction is the hand rail and glass shield around the stair openings in those high, out of the way sections (you have to look through them to see the other end zone). In reality there is a slight obstruction, but it really isn't bad. You'll enjoy them!Have fun! Who Dey! Quote
ViewFromSec310 Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I'm in 310 duh, I love the seats because we are in the 2nd row and that's not too high up there. Your right on the 45-50 yard lines. Should be great time this year. I just wish they had some night games like last year. Those were more fun with tailgating all day and then crushing the dolphins and denver.BTW, I'm going to sell my pre season tickets, 2 seats together in 310, 2nd row from the front in the top section. If anyone is interested PM me. Quote
izzi Posted July 28, 2005 Author Report Posted July 28, 2005 thanks guys, the more I think about it the more excited I get! out of curiosity, how cold is it going to be in Cincinnati that time of year - end of October? I've no idea what I should be planning for! Quote
Columbusbengal Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 out of curiosity, how cold is it going to be in Cincinnati that time of year - end of October? I've no idea what I should be planning for! October is the absolute nicest month of the year in Cincinnati. Perfect football weather - sunny and cool (but not cold). Literally, the first week in November, it gets a bit cold and the sun doesn't come out again until spring (slight exaggeration). Quote

Bengalbob Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 Bear's Tickets -- I'm looking into a road trip too, but the following are the only ticket sites I've found:http://search.ebay.com/bengals-bears-ticke...QfkrZ1QQfromZR8http://chicagobearstickets.stubhub.com/bea...2289x147-email1I'm not sure I really want to pay 3-4x face value to watch us stomp the Bears, so I may not go. If you come up with something cheaper, please let us know. Quote
