I was just checking out the roster via Bengals.com ( http://www.bengals.com/team/players.asp ) and Shayne is the only Kicker on the books - should he go down with an injury (god forbid) then who would step up to assume the mantle?

thats usually the case... so you do like other times and sign another a kicker

Yeah, it's not a bad idea to keep two kickers on board, but if he gets injured just go out and find another kicker until he recovers.

Kickers seem to be cheap, although a FA would be a down grade from Graham there are usually half a dozen compatent kickers looking for a team.

kickers are different than other players. they can step onto any team and perform. we didn't like our kicker coming out of preseason, so we signed Shayne Graham and stepped up and immediately was successful.

Kickers are the same as punters...easily replaceable on the fly. See Kyle Larson.

Just keep him signed if he gets hurt I'm sure we can pick up a kicker up from the browns they have like 4 or 5 after all

Well it be kinda hard to get dawson sense you have him locked in a 7million dollar contract .... preatty much how my night goes after work drink...post on bengalzone post on dawgtalk then go to sleep
