BengalBax
Cool, didn't know you could do that. I have every bengals game (regular season) played on tape since 1997 though, but I would like to get some of those older games. Very cool indeed! JungleFanatic
Thanks for the info CTBengalsFan,good connection as of 6am 100+KB! I'll keep my upload going for a couple days so my fellow bengal fans can enjoy decent DL speed. For those who have never dealt with BitTorrent you'll need a client,I suggest Azureus, heres a link : Azureus :player: WHO-DEY :player:

Dude. If I could give out points for "Rocking," you'd be about pegging the freakin' meter right now!! I NEVER got to see but the 1st quarter of that game. Dumb schmuck me doubted the Bengals in that game, (should I go confess to the 'Zones "Chaplin" over that sin? I'll come clean on that one, but if I gotta throw all my past indiscretions out there too, that ain't gonna work without a two week vacation approved from my job first! ) so I bailed and went snowboarding with some buddies! Imagine my surprise when I returned home later that night. Thanks CT!
joshh967
thanks for the post man...i never even thought to look for a torrent of bengals stuff. I think the nfl copyright police are going to have someones head for this lol.

BengalszoneBilly
Ya know me right guy's? I usually hate to complain, ( ) especially when it's a freebie, but what's the benefit of this "Bit Torrent" platform for file sharing, music downloads, or just plain downloading a video. (Well honestly it was more than one..it was more like six videos...six videos of forgetful, but fun loving folks...the kind of fun loving folks that have a tendency of forgetting the same, easily forgotten things in almost every video they do. Their clothes!)It's just that I've never seen or heard of "Aelitis," this India/French based company formed by developers of the Azureus (I understand the program was named from a type of French "Cyber-Slang" word meaning something along the lines of "I'd rather be the tortise than the hare.) program, which you must first download, just to be able to download other files from God knows where. From what I read...it's so they don't get sued and be found guilty and liable for damages by "protected content" producers. A.K.A. the music and entertainment industry. And all the while this is going on, it's turning your once kick ass broadband internet connection (I use a cable modem) into something that performance-wise makes your old regular 56K dial-up modem look like John Force's NHRA Funny Car, and you're racing him in a Yugo! Maybe I don't have this configured right, or I need another plug in that I'm not aware of. I hope there's a plug-in called "Mash The Gas Pedal," because at this rate the Bengals 1st 2005 season game with the Ravens will be over before my download of last seasons game is!! CTBengalsFan
i think you need to change the port settings on your firewall, but lord knows I don't know how to do that.

Yeah i know what you mean man you have to configure these things like crazy to get it to work decently. The first time i used a torrent thing I spent at least 2 or 3 hours trying to get it to download fast, it still doesnt download nearly as fast as it should but its ok. Just do some google searches for slow azureus downloads and you will get some walkthrough type things. Good looks on this idea though CT, i never thought of getting NFL games off bit torrent. This should make the rest of the offseason move a bit faster, heh.
BengalszoneBilly
i think you need to change the port settings on your firewall, but lord knows I don't know how to do that. Firewall? What's a firewall? I'm joking of course. Sadly my mother, who btw holds TWO P.H.D.'s in education, wasn't when I asked about how she had it configured on her problem filled computer with a new always on modem! No, it's not that. I approved the entire programs loopback process through any and all ports it may choose. It wasn't hard.Well maybe for my Mom it would be. She's the "Rainman" of our family. Only she could go back to school after 3 kids, and in her early 30's, graduate in record time from Xavier with 2 P.H.D.'s, and STILL cannot fathom how to make "12:00 A.M." stop endlessly flashing on the DVD/VCR's display! skyline
If anyone needs help configuring their firewall, let me know. I'm a bit of a torrent expert. I use it for all of my live music needs...Downloading the game as I speak...looks like it'll finish very quickly. The advantage to bit torrent, since the question was raised, is that the more people you have downloading, the faster the speeds. As opposed to traditional http downloading where it can get clogged up and shut down entirely due to too much traffic. Yes, there are jerks out there who will download, but refuse to upload as well. Regardless, it's an excellent platform...nothing's perfect, after all.

Well I don't download tunes or have many new games to trade, but if anyone's interested in the midget filled XXX rated flick "Itty-Bitty Gang Bang," then lemme know! BengalszoneBilly
no it does it automatically. So I see. It just starts shipping it out all on it's own. That's cool. What's not cool is the fact that now when I open it with "Win-Doze Mediocre Player," I have no video, just audio.C'mon dammit!! I'm so close to something enjoyable, this is killin' me. Should I use Quicktime, or Real Player? And Eric. Thanks for the billboard sized pic of your desktop. I just printed it out, and taped it on to my monitor. I feel much better now. CTBengalsFan
I always found DivX was able to play a lot of video media player couldn't. It works on my Windows Media Player, try downloading the new codecs. Just google "Windows Media Player codecs". Or you could just download DivX, cuz it works on that for me, too. JungleFanatic
I do believe the DviX codec is required, heres a link to the download page:DivX Codec Downloadjust download the "player bundle" and your set.NOTE: you do not have to use the player that comes with that package as the codec works with most if not all media players ie> windows media, realplayer, winamp ect ect.But you can if you like. For folks having trouble connecting make sure your firewall is set to let your client use the port to interact with the tracker(by default the port is 6881)Go to this link and find the router you are using and how to "port forward" it Port ForwardingNOTE: For those folks that find this waaay too confusing my appologies Check out the "help" in the top toolbar of Azureus you can find out alot about the program and what it does and what you can do with it.As was mentioned earlier DL speed has everything to do with the people you connect to,the more they upload the faster you download. Finally if you really wanna know more about all this stuff Google will be your best bet,try to find forums relating to this as there is a wealth of information on the subject.Enjoy and remember,Big Brothers watching... :player: WHO-DEY :player:
