Kellen Winslow:

If you ask me the Browns are being FAR too lenient with their soldier. True soldiers follow orders. (Am I right Army?) This guy obviously thinks he's above that. Oh well...like I care if Cleveland wastes money on a chump. <_<

Kellen Winslow: Loses Out on Bonus Money

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com

Sunday, July 17, 2005

Update: The Browns declined to pay Winslow his $2 million bonus on Friday, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Recommendation: The money is tied to Winslow being on the active roster, but due to his May 1 motorcycle accident, the tight end is out for the upcoming season. Despite Winslow's flagrant disregard for the terms of his contract that specifically bar motorcycle riding, the Browns will look to keep him happy since the team still has such high hopes for him. The Browns will most likely allow Winslow to keep the bonus money he earned prior to the accident, while taking a wait-and-see approach regarding future bonus money due Dec. 15, 2005 ($950,000) and July 15, 2006 ($2.4 million). Winslow sustained a torn ACL due to the accident.

We are well under the cap limit, for some reason they wanted Dilfer over anyone else, personally I was hoping for Bledsoe.

They wanted Dilfer because he came CHEAP....

Lets see... which QBs COULD you have drafted instead of Winslow?

Ben Roethlisberger or JP Losman

Well, we don't know what Losman can do yet, but I'm betting with Big Ben the Clowns wouldn't be such assclowns as they are with "The Chosen One"

They should have sent him a bill for the bonus money he had already been paid. He's USELESS. Even Ki-Jana Carter started more games in his first two years than this loser.

Good point I never thought of it that way.

KJ sure was a bust, Winslow is following the wrong track.

Alot of Bengals fans wanted Bledsoe too (not this one), about 5 years ago...Thank heavens we went with Kitna instead. Hindsight can be 20/20...Bledsoe has always been overrated I think...I'd go with Dilfer over Bledsoe...
