Who? Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Picking Matt Jones was a odd selection for the Jaguars, I'm looking forward to seeing him play but I'm not sure how he will do this year. He is one of the freakiest athletes I have ever seen and the most interesting player at the combine, please post your thoughts about him and how he will do this year. Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 it's always hard to tell with those kind of guys. I think he'll be solid, but nothing spectacular Quote
Arizona Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Ladies and Gentlement, let me be the first to say: Bust. Yes, that is correct. Amazing athlete but I don't think he'll make it as a WR. Quote

Who? Posted July 15, 2005 Author Report Posted July 15, 2005 Personally I think he's going to do fine this year, he can do so many different things it seems like. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 We will know what he can do after he goes to his second team... Quote
Who? Posted July 15, 2005 Author Report Posted July 15, 2005 Combine whore o_O When I see that I think Kyle Boller all over again Quote
BengalNation1281 Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Matt Jones will be a bust. Add him to the list with Mike Mamula and Kyle Boller. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 can't wait to see pollack run him down from behind like he did in college Quote
bengal4life Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 I didn't know Pollak did that, F**K. That is amazing to have a 270 pound DE run down a 220 pound QB. I never realized how determined Pollak is, on the field. Sh*t we might see Pollak as a CB by the end of the year.lol. I can't wait to see him in action. Quote

Pollack will do things on the field that come out of nowhere...I live in FLA and got all his SEC games at Georgia. One word = relentless.....I can't count the number of OTs he blew by. Just left them standing there.... Quote
CantStop85 Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 Pollack certainly rocked Kentucky's world in the SEC, but then again who didn't? Quote

AMC Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Pollack certainly rocked Kentucky's world in the SEC, but then again who didn't? UK got close to the Vols a couple times. Too close for comfort!I will always respect a team that trotted out a 300 pound QB in Jared Lorenzen. He was a tough dude! But, really..... Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 God.. Jared Lorenzen was huge. He was a lineman playing QB!! Quote
ckj414 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 i gotta agree he is going go down as the biggest work-out warrior bust of alltim I think Mike Mamula would have something to say about that Matt Jones = bust Quote
Kazkal Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 I think he'll be a project that will take atleast 3years too have a decent season,Has he even played WR or TE before? Quote
CantStop85 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 God.. Jared Lorenzen was huge.He was a lineman playing QB!! Right now J-Load is trying to beat out Jessie Palmer or Tim Hasselbeck for a spot on the New York Giants final roster. He's lost a little bit of weight...he's now 6-4 and weighs 275 pounds. He's still a big boy.He was pretty awesome in college...considering he was at Kentucky and was the size of a lineman. Can you imagine trying to sack this guy? lol Quote
