O'brien Please Call Yankees ASAP

Get on the damn phone guy! The Yankees are about to trade their 2 best prospects to the A's for Mark Kotsay! Ken Griffey Jr. is 3 times the damn ball player Kotsay is. You are telling me O'brien couldn't bust in on this and make an offer just as attractive maybe even moreso to the Yankees for a great young pitcher and third baseman. Hell ship off Griffey and Mercker. Deal done and this team finally takes a step in the right direction. First of all Bean is about to jack our guy Phillip Hughes (our future #2 starter according to "Plan A") plus he is going to jack up the Yankees for their "supposed" best prospect 3b Eric Duncan. ARE YA KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!! How come Billy Bean can make a sweet azz deal like this for his team, while your probably curled up in the corner sucking your damn thumb to nervous to even pick up the phone because you too damn scared. " Oh what will the fans think of me if I trade Griffey boo-hoo. I can't I'M TOOOO SCARED! Stop being a damn wuss and trade the guy already. Kearns is ready to come up and Griffey is getting too old and risky. He has to go. Is there anyone who really would place money on Griffey making it through the rest of his contract 100% healthy. COME ON NOW!! DON'T BE A FOOL!! TRADE HIM NOW WHILE YOU CAN!!! It's youR time to step up and be freagin man and do the job that you were hired to do. So get your wussy azz up, get on the phone and do what's best for this orginization. When John Allen comes in spitting his "blah blah blah, I don't think we should trade Griffey because he sells seats blah, blah" Just simply for once don't be the "yes" man you appear to be and say John I appreciate your opinion on this matter, but you hired me to be the GM of this team and I feel this is in the best interest of the Reds orginization if we are commited to winning instead of putting fans in the seats. So while you're opinion is important it to me I feel that since you hired me to make these decisions and to bring winning baseball back to Cincinnati that this trade is what's best for the team. PLEASE FOR ONCE, JUST TAKE MY ADVICE, CALL THE YANKEES RIGHT NOW, AND GET THE DEAL DONE. IT IS AN AMAZING OFFER AND THE ONLY REASON IT'S ON THE TABLE IS BECAUSE GEORGY IS FREAGIN ALL HEATED AND IS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO INSURE HIS TEAM MAKES THE PLAYOFFS. EVEN IF IT MEANS MAKING A DUMB AZZ TRADE LIKE THE ONE THEY ARE ABOUT TO MAKE.

And yeah I know Griffey doesn't want to go to the Yankees.. Boo-Hoo for Ken Griffey! Now suck it up Ken and get on the damn plane. Let bygones be bygones that s**te happened a long time ago and it's time to let it go. Plus if you really want to win a ring that's the place to go. It's not as bad as it seems.

I don't care if he has a no trade clause... And also screw Duncan, he's not as important as Hughes. GO GET HUGHES O'BRIEN!!!!!!!! Hughes is one of the top 5 pitchers in all of the minors imo. If you can get Duncan great. Maybe you can turn around and package him in some type of deal for Erick Aybar of the Angels. The Angels have to be prepared to move Aybar by now. They could use some major league help and they have a log jam of great young middle infielders in the minors. Aybar is a legitimate leadoff man with the skills to steal 50 plus bases a year. Hughes and Aybar are the two players the Reds should be doing everything possible to try and get this trading deadline. Plus with Milton heating up. We have a little more leverage to get deals done for those two. Let's make it happen Dan. You get those two and I will never say another bad thing about you and will consider the the best damn GM in baseball. Come on now buddy :)

Why would you want Aybar when you could have Kendrick instead. I heard a couple of interesting rumors on espn. One is Dunn to the Dodgers for their 2 top pitching prospects(Jackson and Billingsley). Also Griffey to the Braves for Davies and minor league catcher Pena. these trades would be far better.Think of a rotation of Harang,Clausson,Jackson,Billingsley, and Davies. I could live with that. Billingsley has 101stikeouts in 85 innings;not to shaby.Plus Pena is one of the Braves best prospects. I forgot to mention that Randa would be included in the Griffey trade. I have also heard the reds were interested in Orlando Hudson 2nd base for Toronto.

And yeah I know Griffey doesn't want to go to the Yankees.. Boo-Hoo for Ken Griffey!

No trade clause.

I bet "Whiffey" Junior might go to New York willingly if the Yankees first picked up Ken Griffey Senior as a coach, or even a player and used him as "bait." Don't laugh. It's already worked once for a team!

He and the Yankees's struggling Randy Johnson would make the perfect "We played lots better in Seattle, really!" set of bookends for George Stienbrenner, don't you think?

Let's face the facts. Cincinnati has not been good for Junior, and Junior has not been good for Cincinnati. If this was any other type of relationship, sheets would have been split many, many moon's ago!

Before I end this whole "Trade Junior" post, let me say this man deserves HUGE props for one thing without question. Anytime the word "steroids" was mentioned, Juniors name was NOT!

So how the hell he ended up on the SAME card as the "Roid King" is totally insane!
