AMC
Just browsed some Brown's fans sites. Struck me funny that they are HOPING to get Boulware - an injured, over-the-hill player. They see that as a big step...Sounds like the Brown's fans are grasping at free-agent straws. The balance of power in the AFC CENTRAL is in the Bengal's favor! Granted Crennel will get them going but he needs to instill the winning attitude for the Browns (I HOPE HE DOESN"T), but he is trying to win the hearts of some fans who still pine for Tim Couch and Gerard Warren. We shall see.....Dilfer? Droughns? Baxter?
Ickey44
Much as I hate to say it, I think the Browns will be a good team in a couple of years. Crennel will get some free agents in there that Butch Davis couldn't. He'll also draft a helluva lot better than Davis.
redsbengalsbucks
i think it is funny that the brownies all think that crennel is so good, his last job was assistant to coach bellicheck who you ran out of town as an idiot, you know before you lost your team to baltimore, you remember, before they won the superbowl as the ravens. i do hope he turns the browns around i long for the good old days when it was the bengals-browns division to lose, not which ohio team is going to finish last this year. Who?
Boulware fits perfectly in a 3-4 scheme.. I wouldn't say over the hill at all, it's just risky to give him a nice contract because of that injury.
Who?
Droughns won't start, he was a product of the system, Baxter and Henry seem the same to me so losing Henry really didn't bother me at all, Dilfer is just Dilfer.. he will be a mentor to Frye. Who?
droughns wont start? right... Are you serious? Droughns is a product of the system, he had like 25 yards in the three years before that season.
BengalszoneBilly
Droughns won't start, he was a product of the system,I hope you're right. IMO Droughns is the best back in Brownsville. You may think he was a product of Denver's system, but a teams "system" stops being a factor when the runner is hit by 2-3 defensive players, yet he continues to pick up positive yardage.Living out here in the west, I (unfortunately) saw numerous Denver Donkey games. He didn't run well just against the Bengals in that Monday night game. He ran well against many teams.BTW...I apologize to B24 about the HUGELY oversized pic. It was soooo good, I couldn't resist! Who?
so u payed him all that money to sit behind suggs? He has the same contract as he did when he was in Denver, that's why he was holding out.

Who?
I'd really like for Droughns to be good, it just seems that Lee has the most talent out of them all, if only Willy could get his act together.
AMC
I'm glad the Bengals don't have all of these question marks...Geez!
CantStop85
Droughns will at least get a shot at starting in training camp or the first few weeks of the season. If they didn't think he could start then why would they pick him up?
Who?
It's just my opinion that he isn't better than Suggs, Suggs I think can do great if he stays healthy the entire year.
tigerclaw
to bad the browns line sucks aand it dont matter who is running the ball he will fail. dilfer will be crushed by game 4 and done for the year
StripesNTn
It will be a nice RB by committee talant and fresh legs (Minn last year). Suggs is projected starter though.
dunedindawg
Lee Suggs is a better all around back then Droughns. The only question is will he be able to stay healthy. If he can he's a 3 down back. Don't kid yourselfs in to thinking the Browns have no talent, they have as much talent in the skill positions as the Bengals do right now.The offensive line is the difference, but it won't take long to get that moving in a positive direction either. Just mark a split down in your record books because these two teams always do.

Put down the crack pipe and go back to Turd Town.

Just wondering... are the Browns set on Frye as their QB of the future? Cuz I see sometimes articles talking about Leinart ending up with the Browns because they'll have the first pick, but I wondered if you guys would actually draft him or if your team is sold on Frye. I can't say I've heard anything on this. Just wondering if you knew something...

Yeah, too bad his skill can't match his mouth, then he might be as good as he thinks.

They want to see how he grasps the offense and if he improves. If Matt Lienhart is available when they pick next year, Charlie Frye who? You know that Chad Johnson. The same one posing for Warrick in front of the Dawg Pound after a TD in '03.... You know that Chad Johnson.... :player: :player: :player: :player:
