walkthechalk
Jun 30 WPVI.com reports there is some speculation the Philadelphia Eagles could trade WR Terrell Owens to the Oakland Raiders for WR Jerry Porter. If the trade were to occur, the Raiders would have two of the best wide receivers in the NFL: Randy Moss and Terrell Owens. Moss told reporters Wednesday, June 29, he could co-exist with Owens as long as he got the number of passes he deserves.wow.

CBin2k7
Don't forget Warren Mouth of the South Sapp. That would be some team with those personalities. Too bad the spent 27 million on Lamont Jordan.I don't think it would work, TO and Moss.
Kazkal
That would be a sick combo if it did happen, but if i'm not mistaken raiders don't have the cap room so their gonna have to either butcher their team op hope TO plays for free till 2007
AMC
What are the odds that two of the best WRs in the NFL are from the Division I-AA Southern Conference? Owens = UT-ChattanoogaMoss = Marshall (when Marshall was in the Southern Conference)Just giving props to a great I-AA football conference: Georgia Southern, Furman, Appalachian State, etc.

My best friend is a graduate of Georgia Southern and he got me into those teams. Highly competitve and some real good talent comes out of those teams. kitared
Lemme go check this rumour out at Raiderfans.net! Our resident Raiderfan Kitared will have the skinny for me there!I heard them talking about it on the Radio here in Atlanta also. I really don't see it happening I don't think we have the money for him. Can you imagine having Moss and TO on the same team. Now, if we only had a QB to throw to them!EDIT~I just got off the phone with my boy who is TO's personal DJ and good friend. He said that TO and Moss couldn't make it on the same team. They get along off the field, but their egos are to big to play together. If I hear anything else I will keep you guys posted.

Just bought a new Ford truck in Tampa and the guy who sold it to me used to be a LB at Georgia Southern. Played with Adrian Peterson at GSU. I myself went to East Tennessee State a while back so I saw alot of good SoCon football.Any way!
walkthechalk
(July 1, 2005) -- A rumor that makes as much sense as Philip Rivers to the 49ers for the No. 1 overall pick has made its rounds on the Internet: Terrell Owens to the Raiders for Jerry Porter.Due to salary-cap constraints -- suffocating ones -- the trade could not be completed, no way. Yet in journalism school, the first thing they taught me was, "If your mother tells you she loves you, check it out."Well, I'm still trying to confirm that my mother loves me, but I have confirmed something else. This trade is positively not happening. This is the conclusion drawn from an e-mail floated to an Oakland front-office man about the possibility of a trade going through and T.O. and Randy Moss playing together. The Raiders' official e-mailed response: "It's absolutely (B.S.). Do not think twice about it. Keep grilling."So it's just like we all thought. There's no way it's gonna happen.
