DontPushMe Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 MARVIN WILL NOT LET THURMAN GET LIKE SPIKES. Yeah, id hate to have another player like Takeo Spikes. I mean, he was only our 2nd best player the whole time he was here. Who needs that? Quote
HairOnFire Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Yeah, id hate to have another player like Takeo Spikes. I mean, he was only our 2nd best player the whole time he was here. Who needs that? Takeo was once our 2nd best player? IMHO he was the very best we had. I even named my favorite dog, a 95 pound male Boxer, after Spikes. Better yet, many people who have seen pictures of Spikes claim he and my dog actually look alike. To be fair, I once named a particuarly corn-filled bowel movement for Corey Dillon, but due to the act of immediate flushing I never grew as attached to it as I have the dog. And let's not pretend that I'm the only one around here who has taken the time and effort to name an actual bowel movement? Please. Who are we trying to kid? Quote
derekshank Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 The number doesn't really matter to me. I'm not going to compare him to anyone else who used to wear the number... and I like 51. It's certainly better than 54, which is the other # in the 50's that is available, and even if Augustin gets cut, that only frees up #57. Really 51 is my favorite LB #. It sleek, and seems fast, and I don't like the MLB to be in the 90's.Regardless of what the number is, the player makes the number great, not vice versa... 99 will be our favorite LB number someday thanks to DP.Man... I can't wait until camp starts. We're talking about numbers here! Quote

Not suprising, you seem to prefer bad RBs over good ones so you not liking Corey Dillon is probly a good thing. Quote

Just when I thought someone was about to get "tight" with Pushy, I got spun out on that one! You're hilarious Hairy! Quote
