bengal4life
You definetly have to give it up to ML to be able to get his players to be so humble off the field. I don't know for sure but I think If CJ was with any other team he would have character flaws like TO and Moss. CJ started acting childish at the beginning of last year, but then after the Cleveland game he pulled a 180, and I think it is all due to ML.So thank you Marvin
membengal
Rosenhaus' quote certainly got all of us riled up, which begs the question... If Chad signed him for publicity purposes, is he not succeeding? Him mentioning Chad being grossly underpaid certainly puts the media spotlight on Chad asking "What's he gonna say/do?" Chad said/did the right thing, which should being making him a media darling in some respects. Hope it works for him.I know it is terribly self promoting to quote my own post, but I have to show that I was right. On the ESPN show 1st and 10 this afternoon, they were talking about Rosenhaus and T.O., and then the discussion turned to Chad Johnson. They mentioned his quote about how Rosenhaus doesn't run him, he runs himself, and that Rosenhaus works for him. They pretty muched raved about Chad being the man, having a great attitude. THey talked about how they really liked him, thought he was one of the best WR's in the NFL, and hope he can do several endzone dances this year. This may just be the beginning of Chad's media frenzy. I think he will quickly become a media darling if he keeps making quotes like this, and catching TD passes. Could not agree more.Look, I know I and a few others have laid out what must have gone down between Chad and f**k-face before f**k-face went and dragged Chad into the craziness. Clearly f**k-face tried to get CJ to hold out like seemingly every other one of his clients is doing. CJ clearly must have said "NO" as evidenced by his attendance at all the off-season stuff. f**k-face, being f**k-face, dragged Chad into the off-season of hell anyway with the unsolicited quote on espn.com. CJ, feeling the need to clear the air, made sure everyone understands that his agent works for him. That's simply spectacular news, and the boyz on 1st and 10 SHOULD have reacted like that. Glad to hear it.Simply put, why doesn't f**k-face see what he can do as an agent in getting CJ more money that doesn't involve screwing a team, player and fan-base? I am glad CJ drew a clear line in the sand for this off-season. Next off-season might be a little different, but for now, the focus is on 2005. That's the way it should be.Wish I had heard the 1st and 10 stuff...
