lambert58 Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 First of all, I know all of you are very exited. Christmas is this week, followed by a short wait (probably long for most of you) until the Bengals play and defeat the Browns.I was surprised to hear that some Bengals fans have already given up on the team. It's probably the same ones who gave up when the team started out 0-3.Most of you know that I am a rabid Steeler fan. But even through the black and gold, I can see that the Bengals are having a special season.First of all you have the coach of the year Marvin Lewis. But putting aside all of the stats for a moment, there are three things that are really specail about the Bengals. The players like and believe in each other. The chemistry on the team is great. The Bengals have FUN when they play. Those three things have contributed to this great season. Sure you have lost some games, but as I said in another post, sometimes things just don't work out. No matter how hard you play or try. That doesn't just apply to football players, but to everyday people like us as well. The best thing that comes from losing in my opinion, is the motivation not to lose again. The Bengals have that motivation from the Rams game. And they have proved that they know how to adjust.Merry Christmas and good luck.Lambert 58 Quote
jjakq27 Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 I believe the Bengals are due for a little Christmas magic this weekend. They have overcame alot of things this season and are still alive heading into the the last weekend of the season. Here's a few:The whole "Bungals" mentalityOnly team in the NFL with three straight road gamesInjuries to Burris, TJ and DillonThe "phantom" clock in the Ravens v. Seahawks gameIt's time for Cinderella to take the Bus to the New Years Ball! Quote
walzav29 Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Hey Lambert! What's the feeling in Steeltown on this one? Slam some Iron City's and make the trip to Baltimore. C'mon Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just hook us up. I swear on Carson Palmers ACL that I root for the Steelers when the Bengals are out of it. I hate the Ravens and Browns, but much respect for the Steel Curtian baby! Quote
lambert58 Posted December 23, 2003 Author Report Posted December 23, 2003 We are going in against the Ravens with a playoff mentality even though we are actually going home for the year. We're going to kick their ass. I can't wait to see they're faces as they walk off the field to join us for our vacation. While the Bengals go to the playoffs!Lambert 58 Quote
Bengals_suck Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 It would appear that you are all delusional. The Cincyrella story is over and their carriage has turned back into a pumpkin.Depending on the Steelers to beat Baltimore so you have a chance at going to the playoffs is like leaving your retarded cousin Richard to be the lifeguard at the family pool. Couldn't get his sh*t together fast enough to be of help. The Bungles have been losers for 12 years now and will contiunue to be after their devastating loss to the Cleveland Browns...And it's Bungles in the jungle, yeah it's alright by me. See ya suckers!!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Oh, real original Mr. Sucks, rippin' off Jethro Tull lyrics to post smack here, although your last name is SOOOO appropriate! From now on, we'll just call you plain ol' "Suck"! I'd like to see you and lambert58 in a dark alley while he proceeds to remove your small imitation of manhood that'll have you cross dressing for years to come, you Bengals/Steelers hater!! Tell your lifemate Richard Simmons hello for us! If you're gonna post smack here you best be wearin' a flak jacket!! Quote
Bengals_suck Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Bring it on. I stand by my statement that both the Bungles and the Squealers suck and swallow. But I was impressed billybroome, that you knew that was by Jethro Tull. Are you the singular educated Bungles fan?And why does it have to be a dark alley meeting with lambert58...what's wrong with you????tiger got your puzzy Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Why a dark alley Mr. Suck? Easy. Who want's to be seen with you, Suck!?! Quote
Bengals_suck Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 you dip sh!t... you're the one who suggested the dark alley....For christs sake at least keep track of the crap that flows from your fingertips to this board.Hmmm....you suggest a dark alley and a guy playing with my genitals. So you're the guy that buys all that gay porn. Fag Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Weak ass s**t dude. You gotta have better than that! Quote
JBrooks Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Depending on the Steelers to beat Baltimore so you have a chance at going to the playoffs is like leaving your retarded cousin Richard to be the lifeguard at the family pool. How'd you know about my retarded cousin Richard? We've kept him in the basement next to all the Browns fans for years. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 How'd you know about my retarded cousin Richard? We've kept him in the basement next to all the Browns fans for years. Let 'em have it Brooksie!! Quote
Arizona Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 We're going to kick their ass. I can't wait to see they're faces as they walk off the field to join us for our vacation. While the Bengals go to the playoffs!Lambert 58 Bold statement. Let me counter. Not only will we beat you, we will humiliate you. Jamal will not only get 50 yards and get to 2K on the season, he'll go for 200 yards and crush the record, on your teams watch. I must admit that the Steelers have owned the Ravens for the last few years, the same way we own the Titans and Broncos, but all of that changes Sunday. The first game of the season we were destroyed and toyed with. We are not that team. We are better. You, however, have been a complete, disappointing bust all year. If not for the Raiders total implosion, you would top everyone's list of most underachieving. And as you prepare to come back with a reply, let me offer this advice: Remember please, that you are trying to play spoiler, that your season ends on Sunday. All of us in Baltimore expected that last game to determine the division, a titanic battle between two worthy foes. That game is still going to determine the division, but your role has been reduced to that of speed bump.Steelers Suck!! Quote

They just want you to take the walk with them, and they're serious. If you call that a speedbump, get ready to get your car re-aligned! (Don't take this as some smack or some trash. You...I like. Do you take your moniker from the U of A?) Quote
Jam31 Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Come on Billy!!!! We HATE these boys, they are definitely a speed bump...............with 12 inch spikes!ARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHCANT WAIT FOR SUNDAY NITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Of course you hate 'em Jam, they're the team your Ravens play next weekend that has the whole season riding on it. You're a true Ravens fan, and you're to be commended for it! You ain't no bandwagon jumper. I can't wait for next Sunday!! Either way... GO A.F.C. NORTH!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I love your pic with the Browns player face down in pursuit! Most excellent mental image of the Browns that I want to keep forever! Quote
lambert58 Posted December 24, 2003 Author Report Posted December 24, 2003 Hey ARIZONA,If I remember correctly, your sorry ass Ravens could'nt even beat the pathetic Raiders. You guys were running around like a bunch of sissies out there.Jamal Lewis can run all over the place against most teams. But not the Steelers. No matter what our record is, we are always tough against the run. Lewis will get more yards running out of the stadium, to the parking lot, and getting into his Porsche. But hey man, don't fret. The Bengals will represent the North better than the no-heart suck ass Ravens.Your really only worried about how much trouble Ray Lewis will get into if the season ends so quickly. He'll say something like: "Damn, we out of the playoffs. I'm goin uptown an f*uck up my career again, aint sh*t else to do."By the way, the BONEHEAD calling himself Bengals suck; put the twinkie down, wipe the cream off of the side of your mouth, and finish your homework. It's past your bedtime.Go Steelers! and Go Bengals!Lambert 58 Quote
redsfan2 Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 P.S. I love your pic with the Browns player face down in pursuit! Most excellent mental image of the Browns that I want to keep forever! This Sunday you can take Jamal out of the picture and replace him with Rudi and it'll be like deja vu all over again. Quote
Jam31 Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 Jamal Lewis can run all over the place against most teams. But not the Steelers. Excellent analysis Lambert58!Jamal averaged 6 yards per carry our first game. You can't stop the best runningback in the league. Dont feel bad because nobody has!!!!!Billick will give it to him 50 times if necessary. Your boys are going down just like your season already has!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!BillyBroome: Isn't that picture hilarious!??? I just love reading the Browns quotes saying that 400 of my boy's 500 were broken tackles therefore it was a fluke!WHATEVER A**HOLES!!!!!!!!Just give the ball to Rudi and watch those boys wilt. Quote
Arizona Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 When I registered for the Ravenstalk website I was in an apartment on the corner I believe of E and 12th, between Speedway and Broadway. We could see the stadium from the balcony. I didn't attend the U of A, I was out there trying to relocate. Unfortunatly, the economy of Tucson is based wholly on college students and retirees, so I ended up coming back. I live near DC now, which reminds me: Redskins Suck!! Quote
