BengalszoneBilly
The Charlotte Observer reports a final autopsy released this week confirmed that complications from a chronic disease killed NFL All-Pro DE Reggie White on Dec. 26. White, 43, died after having breathing problems as he slept in his Cornelius home. Dr. Michael Sullivan of the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner's Office ruled that White died from a cardiac arrhythmia -- an irregular heart rhythm -- caused by complications from sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis forms inflamed cells called granulomas in various organs such as lungs, kidneys or eyes. Pulmonary sarcoidosis occurs eight times more often in African Americans than in whites.
