chazf73 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 I dont think that there is a team that can beat the bengals,but i know we wont win them all .We will win the AFC north.The pats will not make the playoffs,i am sick about hearing about how good they are.If they is a team out there that can beat them, it is the bengals. I believe in what marvin saids if he said we will make the playoffs WE WILL .Marvin is like a GOD in cincinnati. Quote

Bengals go 11-0 and lock up a playoff spot, at which point Mike Brown sees no more need to play -- or pay -- his team until the playoffs and furloughs everyone. Quote

walshfan Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 The playoffs is not out of the question this year... we have an explosive offense capable of averaging 28 pts a game...the defense is still suspect... I dont know, I just dont think our defensive line is keeping opposing offensive coordinators up at night worried about how to attack it.It's going to come down to Carson having the year we all hope he has.. Is he going to have the poise in his second year as starter to stay away from the mental mistakes he had last year? I think so but that remains to be seen. Quote

Whether we win in the 1st round is almost as impossible as guessing our number of wins everybody gets, but I think we have about as good a chance as anyone (except NE and Indy in the AFC) at winning in the offseason.
