Posted May 10, 2005 Report Share Posted May 10, 2005 Donovan McNabb on the cover of Madden 2006 EA Sports officially announced Tuesday what was already known by many - that quarterback Donovan McNabb would be featured on the cover of the latest installment of the best-selling football video game franchise, Madden 2006. Here is your chance to check out the cover of the game, which is due out in August. "This is one of the top honors in the NFL - you have truly made it when you are on the cover of Madden NFL Football," said McNabb in a statement. "With the attention and changes they have made to the passing and the focus on the quarterback this year, it was worth the wait to be the cover guy and part of the EA SPORTS team." McNabb is the first Eagle and only the sixth NFL player to be featured on the cover. The Madden series is in its 16th season and has sold over 43 million copies. Last year's edition, which featured Baltimore's Ray Lewis on the cover, sold over six million copies. For more information about the game, check out Madden06.com.
