Southern Conference: Southern Ht., Wt.: 6-1, 215 40 Time: 4.5BIO: Three-year starter and All-Conference selection in the past. Finished his senior campaign with 40/2/2.POSITIVES: Big, imposing safety who makes a lot of athletic plays. Explosive, hard-hitting and tees off on ballcarriers. Displays good hands for the pick.NEGATIVES: Indecisive in pass coverage, has difficulty in man-to-man situations and only effective facing the quarterback. Not fluid in his hips and slow locating the ball. Takes poor angles to the action and not efficient. More built-up speed than a sudden burst.ANALYSIS: A player who passes the eyeball test, Young will need a lot of time to smooth out the rough edges of his game. Best and possibly only shot could be as a strong safety who plays up in the box. Computer numbers are enticing, which will get him an invite to camp.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free AgentPatrick Body Position: S Class: Sr School: Toledo Conference: MAC Ht., Wt.: 6-1.5, 195 40 Time: 4.31BIO: Three-year starter who led the team in tackles as a senior, posting 113/2/3. Used at linebacker early in college.POSITIVES: Athletic prospect with intriguing size/speed numbers. Quick, changing direction with the ability to redirect to the play. Displays outstanding recovery and closing speed. Explosive up the field defending the run.NEGATIVES: Gathers into tackles and not as good as the statistics would lead one to believe. Lacks instincts in pass coverage; indecisive, loses receivers on the field and does not display a sense of timing.ANALYSIS: Size/speed numbers alone make Body a draftable prospect. Yet he must improve every aspect of his game, especially play in pass coverage, to make a roster.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free AgentHerana-Daze Jones Position: S Class: School: Indiana Conference: Big Ten Ht., Wt.: 5-10.5, 202 40 Time: 4.55BIO: Three-year starter who lead the team this season with 110 tackles, also posting two interceptions and breaking up five passes.POSITIVES: Aggressive, hard-hitting safety with a nose for the ball. Takes good angles to the action, efficient, yet at the same time displays explosion to his game. Quick moving up the field and lays his shoulders into opponents.NEGATIVES: Only average ball skills and abilities in pass defense.ANALYSIS: A run-defending safety with limitations in coverage, Jones could backup in a two-deep system at the next level.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free AgenDarnell Jones Position: FB Class: Sr School: Mississippi St. Conference: SEC Ht., Wt.: 5-10, 235 40 Time: 4.82BIO: Used on a rotational basis since his freshman campaign. Carried the ball only 7/48/1 as a senior, also adding eight receptions.POSITIVES: Little-used lead fullback who accelerates into blocks, jolts defenders at the point and adjusts well to oncoming opponents. Patient, blocks with good vision and has a nasty attitude. Lowers shoulders into defenders and works hard to take them out. Quick out of the backfield into pass routes and a solid receiver with reliable hands.NEGATIVES: Not big or dominant and has difficulty finishing blocks. Lacks a powerful lower body and not effective as a short-yardage runner.ANALYSIS: A decent athlete with solid size/speed numbers, Jones has been marginally productive on the college level though flashing ability. Must take his game to another level but should be given a look for a spot on the practice squad.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent Jeremy Thomas Position: FB Class: Sr School: Georgia Conference: SEC Ht., Wt.: 5-11, 241 40 Time: 4.81BIO: Two-year starter who carried the ball just seven times for 11 yards as a senior, after 24/62/2 as a junior.POSITIVES: Nasty lead blocker in the traditional mold. Displays outstanding vision, quickly picks up blitzes and attacks assignments. Always looking for someone to hit, uses all his assets to the best of his ability and concentrates throughout the play. Squares into opponents and takes them out. Adequate hands out of the backfield.NEGATIVES: Not quick out of his stance or through the hole. Lacks the speed to get outside around tackle and create space for the ballcarrier. Only average footwork in pass protection.ANALYSIS: Possessing marginal offensive skills for the next level, Thomas has a slight chance to make a roster that employs a power running game. Must make his mark on special teams.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free AgentJosh Haldi Position: QB Class: Sr School: Northern Illinois Conference: MAC Ht., Wt.: 6-2, 215 40 Time: 4.7BIO: Three year starter who posted 52.5 percent/1,384/15/4 as a senior in nine games. Career numbers of 59.2percent/2,544/25/9 came as a junior.POSITIVES: Intelligent and athletic passer with marginal size/speed numbers for the NFL. Quickly sets up in the pocket, immediately releases the ball and displays a live arm in the short field. Sells all the fakes, times his passes well and can throw the ball on a rope. Has the ability to make plays with his legs.NEGATIVES: Must set his feet in the pocket as he does not throw over his top foot and tends to drift. Cannot drive the deep throw down field and has marginal long accuracy.ANALYSIS: A solid short-range passer best in a timing offense, Haldi is an excellent leader with top football intangibles. Does not possess the physical skills to be a starter yet would be an asset as a team.s third quarterback.Steven Vieira Position: OT Class: Sr School: UCLA Conference: Pac-10 Ht., Wt.: 6-5, 310 40 Time: 5.38BIO: Three-year starter who's been used at both guard positions as well as left tackle. Second- team All-Conference selection as a senior.POSITIVES: Big, physical blocker best in a small area. Quick off the snap, strong in his upper body and jolts opponents with good hand punch. Keeps his feet moving throughout the action, flashes power at the point of attack and tosses defenders to the ground. Turns opponents off the line, opening holes for the running game, or easily pushes them from their angle of attack in pass protection.NEGATIVES: Limited movement skills and not effective on the second level. Blocks tall with marginal knee bend. Big rumbling lineman, not light on his feet.ANALYSIS: A durable and consistent blocker on the college level, Vieira has potential as an inexpensive backup lineman who could be used at several spots on an NFL team. Possesses size potential that, if met, would only enhance his value at the next level.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free AgentSale’ KeyPosition: WR Class: School: Idaho St. Conference: Big Sky Ht., Wt.: 6-4, 215 40 Time: 4.71 BIO: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors every season since his sophomore campaign. Posted career numbers as a senior with 67/943/9.POSITIVES: Tall possession wideout with reliable hands. Shields away opponents with his frame and looks the ball into his hands. Gets vertical to high point the pass in a crowd. Lays out and exposes himself to the big hit, making the reception and holding onto the ball. Displays timing and anticipation as well as soft hands. Improved his blocking as a senior.NEGATIVES: Not quick releasing off the line of scrimmage into routes. Poor speed and does not separate downfield from opponents. Has lapses in concentration and does not always come away with the ball.ANALYSIS: While his game has advanced the past three seasons, a lack of speed may keep Key from finding a home in the NFL. Must become more physical and remain focused to have a shot at making a practice squad.PROJECTION: Undrafted Free AgentNote: Couldn’t find anything on Cedric Sullivan LB

HairOnFire
Where is Tim Bulman DT from Boston College?I like the possibility of his coming here. Sorry, that's not the guy they were linked to. KFFL and other sites claimed that Kansas State DT Andrew Bulman had agreed to sign with the Bengals, but he's not included on the most official of lists. Not sure if he changed his mind or if the Bengals aren't including him until he puts pen to paper. Probably the latter.
