Donavan Darius....how much would he want?

More than almost any other team than the Jaguars would be willing to pay. Right now, as the Jags' Franchise player, he's getting close to $5 million for this upcoming season. Jags want a minimum of at least a first round pick for Darius, and maybe a player or two as well. A team may try renegotiating his contract, but I don't see Darius taking less than $4 milion/yr in a long term (5+ yr) deal with a hefty signing bonus.

$20 million over 5 yrs and a big signing bonus PLUS giving up at least a 1st round pick and probably more for a 30 yr old safety? He may be good, but to be worth that kind of money, he'd better be an all pro selection to the end of the contract, and even then he might not be worth it.
