BengalszoneBilly
Everytime I read the accounts of Stanley Wilsons actions before the Super Bowl, it's like someone made it all up! It's completely NUTS! I mean for a player to finally be so close to the biggest game of their entire life, mere hours actually, to then decide to sneak out for some booze and blow!?!? How do you rationalize that one out in your head? I have no idea. I'm not faulting the man for ever having a drink or ever doing drugs, but I will fault the man for not knowing the time and the place! Damn dude, just show a little patience and have a real reason to get your party on. You shot your wad before the freakin' Super Bowl Pre-Game shows were even on for crissakes! schweinhart
It'll be good to see both M. Munoz and Stanley Jr. get their shots come draft day. Both should stick on a roster and both look like they got the muster to do all they can to prove themselves.

Damn dude, just show a little patience and have a real reason to get your party on. You shot your wad before the freakin' Super Bowl Pre-Game shows were even on for crissakes! Addiction is a b*tch, man - it waits for nothing!I've never had a drug addiction, but I can understand the nature of it - how compulsive and controlling it is.Stress can activate those mechanisms in the brain that lead to a relapse. I'd classify Superbowl week as stressful! No doubt, he was probably already stressed using his willpower to stay away from the stuff for a long period up to that point - the extra stress of the Superbowl combined with the stress of abstinence probably pushed him over the edge. His teammates providing him with the stuff didn't help (he alleged that his teammates hooked him up with the stuff in an infamous Penthouse magazine interview).Anyway, talk about a meltdown! A couple other players have since had infamous Superbowl Eve meltdowns. Eugene Robinson hooked up with a hooker the night before Superbowl XXXIII (Falcons vs. Broncos), and Barrett Robins...went bipolar before Superbowl XXXVII. bengalboomer7
I'd like to read that Penthouse interview, I'm at work right now so I really can't search for it myself
BengalszoneBilly
I'd like to read that Penthouse interview, What the hell are you talking about boomer? Penthouse Magazine has interviews someplace in it to read!?! That's bulls**t, right? Where? All I've ever seen was pictures, some absolutely 100% true letters that real people would write to them with a naughty story in it, and advertisements! That's it! But I'm not sure where and how to find it - Penthouse is not exactly something that your local library keeps back issues of. Maybe if someone is really lucky, they will find it on the 'Net somewhere. Or on eBay...
jrandom42
Personally, I would like to see Stanley Wilson Jr. have a long productive career with mutiple Pro Bowl appearances, a possible place on a Hall of Fame ballot, and then an even longer and more distingiushed career making use of his Urban Studies degree in helping kids whose parents are addicted and/or in jail making their own lives better and brighter. For me, that would be the best for Stanley Wilson, Jr and Sr.
BengalszoneBilly
billy didnt know elton john was a closet browns fan Yes, I suppose he is. You might say the "Bitch is Back!" (...and as the empty beer bottle in mid launch might suggest...) Far from stone cold sober, as a matter of fact!Did you notice he had no qualms about coming out of the closet on his homosexuality, but is still hiding in there big time when it comes to him being a Browns fan!It proves that some things are too embarrassing to admit...even when you're a flamer like Mr. Reginald Dwight is! (Elton John's real name BTW. Yes I do seem to know much about him. Been a big fan of his music since he appeared in the music scene back in '71. As far as his sexuality...that's his business. I really don't care. I really don't want to witness it either, for that matter!)

Dadraftnick
While I think James Brooks was the Bengals best RB and pound for pound one of the best players to ever play the game, I have NEVER seen a RB quicker to the hole than Stanley Wilson. Not Barry Sanders,O.J.,Emitt Smith, who ever.Stanley Wilson had moves to go with the speed. He had it all. He could have and should have been one of the best of all time.He had it all except for character. When you are a crack if you dont quit you you end up dead or in jail.Stanley ended up in jail but it was one of the biggest wastes of human talent ever.
