BeyondTheJungle
I saw this on KFFL this morning:The Atlanta Falcons' website (http://www.atlantafalcons.com) was voted the "Best Overall Website" in the National Football League, during the annual NFL Business Summit in Detroit last week, according to AtlantaFalcons.com. Voting was conducted by the new media staffs of all 32 NFL teams, and was based on content, navigation, fan interactivity and design. Other award winners included the Philadelphia Eagles' website (http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com) in the "Best Content" category, the Denver Broncos' website (http://www.denverbroncos.com) in the "Best Navigation" category, the Jacksonville Jaguars' website (http://www.jaguars.com) in the "Best Fan Interactivity" category, the New York Giants' website (http://www.nygiants.com) in the "Best Design" category, and the Cincinnati Bengals' website (http://www.bengals.com) in the "Most Improved" category. While I think Bengals.com still has a ways to go in the "visual appeal" department, there is no question that they really stepped it during the 2004 season with the new design and lots of good additions (team history, wallpaper, etc). It's too bad there's not an award for best writing. As far as I can tell, the Bengals are the only team that employs a former beat writer and still allows him to be critical. Hobson gets on my nerves sometimes, but I always respect how well he handles what could be a difficult job of criticizing management. jjakq27
I like their site. It is easy to navigate and doesn't have alot of annoying fly-in graphics and distractions that some other NFL sites have. Pretty much to the point. The only thing missing is some good news about Sharper.

BengalszoneBilly
The old site fit the moniker of "Bungles." It was embarrassing!
johnson85
yeah, I agree bengals.com has the best writing but it does need more for the fans..And the graphics are better than what was on the other site... but still could be improved a whole lot. They just need to hire a professional web designer...I am going to the art institute to in cincy to study web design...and when I graduate I am going to try and get hired to do there site. I could make it so much better. :player:
rob_justdmb
There was an awrd for writing, because our site won it like 3 years in a row. Can't remember who gave it out though. When you're used to looking at our site and you go to another site with a news update 1x a week during the season, you realize how nice it is to have Hobson on our side.edit: I actually believe the "best content" is what we won, which is basically the writing and updating one.
