BengalszoneBilly Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Well my Kentucky Wildcats just got bounced in double OT. It was a great run as usual for the Wildcats! They'll be back even stronger next season! Quote
WhoDey93285 Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 I haven't been this emotionally distraught since '92. Seeing Chuck's face at the end of the game just brought me to tears. The Cats left it all on the court tonight and I am very proud of them. Quote

San Antonio Bengal Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 This loss was harder to take than some only because Chuck Hayes was just on the brink of getting to his first and only final four. He's been my favorite player in recent memory, probably since the seniors of the '92 squad, and has had a great career at Kentucky and it was just sad to see it come to an end. But Michigan State deserves some props for what they did. How many teams can beat Duke and then two days later beat Kentucky? It almost pains me to say it considering that I make fun of the Big 10 so much, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see a championship game of Illinois-Michigan St.Chuck will be gone, but seeing how Rondo and Morris and the other freshmen have played this year, we will be in very good shape next season.
