R-U-D-I
17 Cincinnati Bengals Luis Castillo DT Northwestern Marvin Lewis wants an interior run stopper here. Castillo has all the tools to develop into a fine run defender who can solidify the front seven. This is from Ourlads. I try to keep in touch with the different mocks and who we might select, but I've never even heard this guys name mentioned in the first round?? Section 310
I thought he played second base for the Florida Marlins.Seriously though, just because we haven't seen a guy'sname tossed around in the mock drafts doesn't mean squat to Marvin Lewis. He clearly likes certain players andis willing to grab them before Kiper thinks they shouldbe taken. There may be a motive to this sort of madness. By pickingthem early you get a player who is grateful and wants to prove the "experts" were dead wrong.
oldschooler
He kicked ass against Ohio State. I doubt we will draft him in the 1st round...but I wouldn`tmind seeing us draft him in the 2nd...
membengal
For my money, we are not in the DT market in the 1st round anymore with the Robinson signing.I continue to hold out hope for the TE out of Virginia...
JPW
He kicked ass against Ohio State. I doubt we will draft him in the 1st round...but I wouldn`tmind seeing us draft him in the 2nd... He also did very well in the combine but I still don't see him going in the 1st round.Nor do I see the Bengals taking a DT that high ... bengalboomer7
Even though we need a tight end, there isn't one in the draft I'm too excited about, and i don't think ay of them will go in the first.
HairOnFire
It may not be out of the question as I've seen and heard other sources that rank Castillo as a mid to late first rounder. In addition, the crew of Playbook mocked Castillo as a possible pick for a team drafting 27th. I'll be interested to see if his name comes up thursday when they breakdown all of the teams of the AFCN. His quickness is supposed to be outstanding for a player of his size and build. Take it for whatever it might be worth, but Mike Mayock said Castillo consistently ran explosive 1.7 ten yard dashes. Oh yeah, great highlights too. Very physical. Whur CHad At?
You never know who we will get. I mean did anyone think we were going to draft Perry last year? I didn't.LB or Safety, Possibly WR should be addressed in the first round
