you forgot the only person that can stop rudi is rudi. no one can argue with me that last year he lost a ton of yards by not hitting his holes and dancing in the backfield thinking he is a barry sanders type back. get the f**k rolling downhill u df;akjdf;dfj;ds!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice post - Rudi has impressed and over-achieved since he's been here, since day one as I remember him in his rookie preseason and people perking up watching him say "who's that?"

He still has his silly naysayers but hopefully RJ will continue to squash the skeptics.

Two 8-8 seasons with him as the leading rusher after God knows how many losing ones means something.

How can you stop Rudi? Easy, plug up the holes at the LoS. If he tries to bust it outside he gets run down from behind by a DT, if he tries to run inside, its 2 yards and a cloud of dust. Shouldnt be too hard.

Everyone has the right to their own opinion and I respect that. The only thing I have to say to you is, what are you doing here? You say you are a Bengal's fan but you never have anything good to say. Maybe you just like to stir things up, if so and if you really are a Bengal's fan like you say- then take your hostility and piss all over a Brown's board.

Great post! I love it! :D

It must be easy to defense Rudi as DPM says.

The other teams did a GREAT job of holding him to the Bengals single season rushing record. Not to mention holding him to a mere 12 rushing TD's which equals the most Leon ever rushed for...in only his first season as a starter.

All this with a banged up o-line and a first year starting qb.

It will be interesting to watch Rudi now that defenses will have to concentrate more on the receivers with Palmer maturing.

don't forget the 5 100+ yard games and 99, 98 and 96 yard games. but yea, stopping him is a cakewalk.

Great Quote from Marvin about Rudi...

Lewis was asked, as a former defensive coordinator, for his scouting report on Johnson.

"He's unstoppable," Lewis said. "Rudi has demonstrated a great ability to make people miss, to cut within the hole, to run through the arm tackle and to make the tough yard.

"We know that at times he's broken the 45-, 50-yard run that's helped us win football games. Those are the things he shows. He's got great balance and he's not a guy that lets one person bring him down.

"If you're going to play against him, you've got to get a lot of people to the point of attack."
